I know Jessie Vargas started this ducktale but did he ever provide proof? You got a link, video?
Jessie Vargas is a fakkit and all, but he got Brandon Rios c/s'ing it and pretty sure Vargas's trainer backed it up.

It's not far fetched to think/know current boxers, including floyd and AB/AJ/Wilder/Klitschko/Pac Man have all got their knots rocked in sparring.........thus having an advanced amateur KD repeatedly or KO'd in sparring doesn't surprise me one bit. I'd be more surprised if McGregor wasn't having problems in sparring. But you know all this man. Anybody know what gym Conor is training at? I'm sure a west-coast one.

McGregor bringing in Joe Cortez

McGregor's group contacted Cortez a week ago to conduct eight and twelve round fight simulations - where Cortez reads the rules and initial warnings, basically recreating a scenario similar to professional boxing match.

"I'm working with McGregor as an unified boxing advisor. My job is to teach him not to commit any mistakes during his fight against Mayweather Jr," Cortez explained exclusively to Carlos Narvaez.

"They (McGregor's group) were looking for a referee with a broad knowledge of the rules and that's where my name came from. I honestly do not know how, but for me it's an honor. I know they had several names on the table, but they finally selected me and above everyone to be involved in some way for this event that possibly is one of the biggest of the year."

Cortez, a native of Fajardo, Puerto Rico, and a resident of Las Vegas, had worked in 986 professional bouts and 176 of them were world title fights. He entered the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2011 along with great figures such as former champions Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Mike Tyson.

Cortez will work for six weeks with McGregor and his team.

"For Puerto Rico and for me this opportunity is worth a lot. This will be a fight between a boxer and a mixed martial arts specialist. As I said, my role will be to prepare McGregor so that he does not commit any breach of the rules on the day of the fight. It's an opportunity to recreate fights and their rules. He is a fighter who is learning very fast and has previous experience in fights and is moving quite well. The only thing I can say is that it will be an interesting fight," Cortez said.

Brandon Rios already denied this bro. He's never even met Conor.

Jessie Vargas was joking about Rios sparring Conor.

He was serious about Conor getting knocked out, though. Not sure why who.

Stuff like this increases the chances of it actually being a decent fight and not a side show when it all goes down. At least Mac isn't going around training like he's above the rules type shyt. Interesting.

I forget his name, he was a boxer and now he's a trainer, I believe he used to train Vargas too.. sounds like Jesse told him he got knocked out right after he got his boxing license and started sparring.

You peep his stance? I wonder if MMA experience will help him cut the ring off and corner Floyd where he can try to Victor Ortiz/maidana him

Please explain how his experience fighting in a cage would help in him cutting off the ring that has ropes? I don't think you thought that one through, bruh...

I seen a video of a mma fighter saying that his mma stance will cause Floyd problems, I think he's asking the question cuz he said it.

Yeah but Jesse has no proof. No link, no video, nobody even coming out to say they actually knocked him down. This didn't happen bro. If I had a dime for every rumor that was made regarding sparring....don't believe the hype.

I feel the same way but Dewey cooper says Jesse wouldn't come up with duck tales and Dewey spoke directly with Jesse on this and Jesse confirmed to him it was legit, there's a video of Dewey speaking on it and I think that's what he said... idk but it sounds believable.
