Where all them MMA fukkboys that gave Conor all these advantages because he was "bigger" and "used to taking kicks to the face" and had all this "power" that was going to stun Mayweather because of his fight gloves...

Then he proceeds to get walked down for 8 rounds, damn near catching brain damage, and then KO'd:mjlol:

Just imagine the type of damage these boxers would do in 4 oz gloves :merchant:......conor is out here sleeping dudes like nothing in mma. And you seen last night his hands were pillows in 8 ouncers. Not only do mma fighters got a lot less power, but they also got glass Chins too. In the conor-nate diaz rematch, nate was going down on straight up love taps:mjlol:

Last night just proved what we've been saying all along. Yea them mma dudes may have an all around game, but they're all just decent at everything.

Well no shyt. Top level elite guys in any individual discipline are better than top level guys in MMA at the same discipline. 9 times out of 10, the best BJJ/kickboxer/boxer/wrestler/judo person in MMA will lose to the best pure BJJ/kickboxer/wrestler/judo person in their individual sport. Conor isn't even the best boxer or striker in MMA, so while he did have a puncher's chance, it's not like anyone was saying he was on Floyd's level at boxing except for him. Even Dana White was saying Conor isn't on Floyd's level as a boxer in all the build up, but that he had a fighting chance and a weird style Floyd isn't used to.

The only person that said Conor was on PBF's level of boxing talent was Conor himself :russ:

Well for what seemed like a farce hyped up by social media and racial tensions, I was satisfied :ehh:

Nah but once again this showed that US promoters need to get on Britain's level in terms of production/showmanship, for all the hype leading up to last night the atmosphere in the arena didn't compare to the spectacle that was Joshua vs Klitschko, and we now Oscar's gonna snort most of the production visit for Canelo vs GGG and just shove them out the locker rooms while the entrance music is some guy standing by the ring holding a boom box

Last night just proved what we've been saying all along. Yea them mma dudes may have an all around game, but they're all just decent at everything. While boxers are truly special with the hands. And no matter what them mma guys say, they will always envy that. Its a badge of honor to be considered elite with the hands in mma. All of them chase hand to hand knockouts more than anything. It eats em up inside every time somebody says their hands are nowhere near a boxers. But we just seen the hard proof last night. Floyd isn't even a toe to toe guy anymore. And at 40 years old, 2 years off, and giving up 20 lbs. he walked down one of the best strikers in mma like he was a fukkin lame. Conor wasn't even able to bully Floyd even though he was way bigger. Because like these mma nerds also fail to realize...not only are boxers on another level with the hands. They're also naturally stronger physically. Boxers have that raw god given physical strength that you just can't teach. Floyd was straight bullying conor at times which was remarkable to see. And he didn't need to look like a roided out meat head to do it. That was all natural power from mother earth on display:myman:

I got a lot of respect for mma fighters regardless. I respect any man who puts their life on the line. And I give respect to conor for having the courage to get into a boxing ring. I don't care how much money he made, that shyt takes fukkin heart. He showed a lot of skill and he actually came to the ring to win which you gotta respect.

But you mma stans just remember one thing. Your fighters will NEVER be on the same planet as a boxer with them hands. With them chins. With them reflexes. And no WWE wrestler will ever cross over to boxing and become the fukkin champion of the world:mjlol:

Bruh. Bret hart could've easily made the jump to boxing and been a world champ. You must not have seen his hands with them gloves on.

I'm no boxing expert. And is about as casual can be. Now maybe I saw this and never paid attention before, but I can't remember a boxer walking towards a jab before ever like that without flinching.:dahell:

That gif got me :laff:

Regarding of the boxing vs mma topic

we boxing fans usually don't care about who would win a street fight and such he thing is whether you prefer MMA or boxing pretty much boils down on what do you like better: one element of fighting in a perfected form or a little bit of everything but usually on lower skill level?

there are multiple variations, an easy guide:

if you prefer more variety but you also very much prefer stand up fighting then you can watch kickboxing/muay thai or karate, these pretty much halfway between the first category, the purist combat sports (boxing, wrestling, bjj, judo) and the second category, the high variety, jack of all trade/master of nothing sport which is MMA

if you prefer more variety without having any problem with ground fighting then you can watch MMA

if you prefer one art mastered then you can pick between boxing, judo, bjj, wrestling, depending which form of fighting you like the best.

of course you don't have to pick jut one you can like all of the I just say this is how t boils down

I for one like to see stand up fighting in a perfected way and that's what boxing can give. In MMA the technique looks sloppier and feels more like luck plays a bigger role than in boxing. I'm not saying this as a diss, it can happen that there are very good boxers competing in MMA - although it must be rare cause money wise elite boxing is better - but even then they can't use those skills the same way they could in a boxing match cause they have to deal with many other things.

so I can see why someone prefers MMA but I also have my clear reasoning why I prefer boxing. I'm gonna say it though that with the more polished skills boxing also has a lot deeper talent pool

MMA s going in the direction when there will be an "MMA fighter" not fighters with different backgrounds with huge gaps in skills in different departments of their fighting. I guess it's more and more will be about athletes who will be good in everything but not a master of anything and fighters who are only the master of one element will die out from there.

Floyd wouldn't fight like that for damn near the ENTIRE FIGHT to anyone he skillfully respects.

Conor fans definitely took a loss :mjlol:

Had Floyd out here looking like the gotdamn Boogeyman
