Done rewatching the fight, Floyd just bullshytted around till Conor got tired. I don't even think he was worried about collecting recon data like he normally does. He fought like he didn't respect Conor. Sure, you can say that he won rounds and did throw some things at Floyd that we aren't accustomed to seeing but you can see early on, fight was never in doubt. Let us remember that his last legit KO was against RIcky Hatton. Only thing Floyd needed to worry about was to feel the power of Conor to assess things. I think after he ate the uppercut early and kept coming forward was honestly the turning point of the fight as in mentally. Conor's like, oh, he can take a punch, Floyd's like, that's all he has? He was in the post fight interview saying that Conor does not hit as hard as he's used to. So, for a person to be outweighed by 20+ plus and still walk down the fighter, you can only say that he didn't respect anything Conor did in the ring, even if it was superficially eye-pleasing because Floyd sure as hell didn't follow Marcos around the ring like that. So, I'm seeing the narrative about Conor going 10 rounds with Floyd, is good for him. I'm just one man but this was a dominant performance by Floyd, not the dazzling one we are used to seeing from him but this was a crude, I'm just going to bully you type of victory. So, my biggest takeaway from this fight is honestly this, I'm questioning just how strong are UFC fighters and just as I thought, some of those UFC chins are China.
Conor doesn't know how to throw a punch vs a boxer. That uppercut didnt even land cleanly and he looked like he was moving backwards or something. He didnt sit on 1 punch. Again, he probably should've at least consulted a boxing coach. He thru tired punches the entire night. Maybe if he gave up mma and devoted his life to boxing he would be respectable, but I doubt he'd be a championship level boxer at this point in life.

I thought he would just come out throwing haymakers in the 1st 2rnds, now that woulda been entertaining. He looked tired after the 1st rnd to be honest. I just dont get this guys conditioning. He looks like he works hard as fukk too.

MMA fighters DO NOT have the stamina. Not going to happen within their current fight technique and rule setting. They don't have the conditioning for it. ..never have...never will
well GSP is known for his stamina, but for boxing don't know but i think he can last longer he is like Floyd in the Octagon he take his time and not waste a lot of energy

That's the thing though breh. It's a lot of retards coming out of the woodshed these days. Like a lot; people booed for Mayweather more than they did Caconnor, and that's a mostly [white] American crowd. :mjpls:

They are already eating it up that the fact that McGreggor went to 10 rounds must mean he just needed a bit more experience in the ring and ta-dam!

If conner fought any of the current crop welters or super welters they would destroy any credibility he has

he would have to find someone over the hill and ultra defensive and I cant think of anyone like that right now in those divisions

Floyd said as much. Conor doesn't have true boxing power. This is why I hate MMA fights that turn into a boxing match because it's amateur hour at that point. MMA is interesting when they are throwing a variety of styles against one another. Hate the fights in the octagon they stay in stand up.

This was fun to watch, Floyd on the attack and stalking Conor was beautiful :wow: :wow:

And if mayweather knew that he had stamina he would have changed his approach and beat him another way. The man won fair, square and intelligently... why are you trying to diminish it?
wait what ? not trying to diminish the win we all know he will WIN against the novice MMA fighter but i don''t exaggerate things that how easy FLoyd can do what he want's he let Connor hit him. that didn't happen in the early rounds Floyd having a hard time measuring distance between him and Connor, him getting hit by counters Connor decent head movement, with a GSP stamina he will put Floyd in much harder position with that size and Flyod's pillow punch

I remember when Fight science was weighing hte average lbs of force of a punch from all the different fighting disciplines.

Boxers was higher than everything else by far.

the difference is floyd actually fought pacquiao with respect. if he would have went head first into manny with no foot movement at all, he gets knocked out. he did that with conor because he didn't respect his boxing skill whatsoever. dude was barely fazed by any of the shyt conor landed. face showed no marks of damage at all. conor may got power in MMA, but in boxing his shyt is barely average.
