I agree with op actually. It feels like Playstation made games for 20 and 30 year olds this gen. While xbox made games for teenagers and preteens. I'd be better getting those arcade1up machines and playing those classic games from the 90s like the tmnt, the simpsons, and double dragon over a bunch of fortnight clones.

Coming from a life long Nintendo fan Xbox has always been my second console since KOTOR came out. But none of the Xbox exclusive this gen interested me at all. I will say that I do believe Xbox is the best out of the three when it comes to Online multiplayer experience.

But that shyt doesn't interest me anymore. Outside of Smash I mostly play single-player games, which the Switch has been feeding me well. I won't get at launch, but I will eventually get a PS5 for the multi-plats that interest that won't be ported to the Switch. (Although Horizon has my attention tho) Also for some of the JRPG's like Persona and FF7 as examples.

I wouldn't call it a unique experience since when you compare the PS4 and the Xbox One as their functionality is very similar. I just think if I were to pick one over the other I would pick Xbox. I would say that it is just marginally better.
