That's kind of the point TK is making. Being a parent can be a thankless job sometimes. The only way to justify the level of sacrifice is knowing that you are continuing your legacy. So if your biological kids don't respect or like you it doesn't matter. Your kids don't owe you anything. But that's still your blood and nothing will ever change that.
But sacrificing your life and legacy for another mans legacy is a bit insane.

No it does not happen often. You cannot just adopt someone else's kids. The biological father would have to consent and give up their parental rights. Even deadbeats rarely allow this.

-If the biological father isn't on papers he doesn't have a legal right to anything so you don't need their consent. Lots of deadbeats aren't on papers.

I tried to live the stepdad and hated it. Her kids were annoying asl. I couldnt do it.

There was this other girl i was with and i loved her daughter. Very cute kid i wouldnt have minded playing step dad with . I even named my own daughter after her .

kids are much more loyal than cats think.

it's one thing if the father was consistently around and the parents broke up for whatever reason, kids will def be more loyal to their birth father.

but the nikkaz that aren't or haven't been around consistently....don't get mad if step pops gets the love more than you.

It's really daughters that disrespect step dads. I've yet to hear a female artist make a tribute to their step dad like "biological didn't bother". It's usually boys who respect having any father figure in there life.
