Titus fukked up, but at the same time... maybe Braun and Reigns shouldn't be taking pictures together in the first place if they're in the middle of a blood feud?

This. Who fukking cares about this the business been exposed. These two walking around major tourist spots in Europe but Titus may catch heat? Bill Watts turning over in his grave tho

Easily falsifiable comments and thinking wrestling is more than an entertainment show is why it's hard to call you anything but a mark.

Nah my guy, the mark is the one who's gonna watch the trash religiously regardless of what they present you. What do you enjoy about present-day WWE if you don't take it seriously at all and just treat it as mindless entertainment? The witty writing? The top flight athletic competition? The believable, larger-than-life superstars? :mjlol:

It's mindless entertainment. Why do I need a justification to watch it? I don't watch it religiously. I don't even watch current WWE more than a few hours a month. 9 times out of 10 I don't even finish Raw or Smackdown if I tune in live and I never go back and watch eps I didn't watch live. They aren't getting a single dime off of me so I don't know what you're getting at. I watch it because I want to watch it and don't walk around all day thinking about my immersion levels and how they might be broken by social media, because it ain't that deep. Just like I'm not tripping when I see Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. laughing at a movie premiere because I'm not a child and I'm able to separate fiction from reality.

You're the one acting like it's this deeper thing that needs to be taken seriously. The vast majority of people watch wrestling because it's dumb fun. That's been the appeal forever. You've made like 15 posts because you were mad about feuding wrestlers hanging out in public and you're trying to say I must take this thing seriously?:dwillhuh:

I think whats hurting everyone is the fact Braun Strowman brutally attacked Roman Reigns and turned over an Ambulance on him. A fukkIN AMBULANCE on a nikka :krs:

Yet u are seen taking a picture with the guy 2 weeks later on vacation?
:comeon:

All u guys talking about these bum midcarders playing video games with Austin Creed or women that really dont mean shyt hugggin each other for the gram.

Braun & Roman are the top players.

I want to believe they are protecting their main event characters at all times like Taker did.

I think we can all agree Titus shouldn't get any backlash for this (no pun intended) but we all know how Vince can be. He suspended the man for playfully grabbing his arm, Rome & Braun are in the midst of a kill or be killed type of feud at present time.

He could wake up tomorrow and be told of the attention the pic is getting, and have a fit.

This gif will never get old! I wasn't a fan of celebrities hosting Raw but if they started it again let Lavar host at least one episode! :pachaha:

No shyt everyone knows it's fake :dahell: but the point of wrestling is SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF.

Even though you know it's not REAL, it's about whether or not you can get lost in what you're watching for that moment in time. The hottest angles are the ones that do that. Think as recently as Miz/bryan. We had a LONG ass thread of cats wondering whether what they just saw was real or not. shyt had more buzz than just about anything WWE has done in years. At the end of the day, deep down inside, you still know it's "fake" but you had dudes sitting back going "wait, does Miz really hate Bryan?".

So please miss me with the "it's all fake" shyt as if WWE is just another scripted show no different from say, The Walking Dead. Because frankly, if you're looking for scripted drama, there are a million better options than fukking WWE. The whole point, again, is to suspend disbelief. Nobody is saying every single thing that happens on the show should be taken as a "shoot" but if you can't suspend your disbelief, then why are you even watching?

My feelings are backed by hard evidence. The more exposed wrestling has become to the mainstream, the LESS POPULAR it has become. These are FACTS.

The "it's all scripted" speech with Vince ya'll love to cling to wasn't really about shyt. Despite that speech, they still tried to heavily keep kayfabe alive and well and there was still large-scale confusion/denial about to what extent wrestling was real or fake and how real or fake the characters were that you saw on TV. You didn't see people appearing out of character on other forms of entertainment. shyt, a year or two after Vince gave that speech, that "Real secrets of pro wrestling exposed!" show came out on NBC that WWF was heavily trying to get killed. So while they acknowledged kayfabe, they certainly weren't trying to kill it at that point.

For the 100th time, wrestling isn't regular "television programming" so you're wasting your time trying to simplify it down to that. People historically have invested in and digested wrestling differently than other forms of scripted entertainment. You invest in characters because you believe they are to some extent, real. A large majority of the audience that's left now are just diehards who watch because they love wrestling, they would watch no matter who you threw out there. Kayfabe doesn't affect them. They want to be in on these people's lives and follow them through social media.

Just because WWE doesn't care about kayfabe anymore doesn't mean the wrestlers shouldn't. People just want to believe in and invest in a character, to either cheer for or root against. That's why dudes like McGregor make so much money. Everyone logically knows he's just putting on a show to sell a fight, but people really get invested in the character. But you won't see him before a fight posing with Nate Diaz for a smiley picture, a half hour after they just got done throwing shyt at each other at a press conference.
