Kayfabe stays... well I'm not gonna say broken. But it's real shaky during house shows because it's not televised. The wildest shyt stays going down, hence why I encourage everyone to see at least one house show.
I have no problem with wanting to protect kayfabe. I think it's still important to have some semblance of legitimacy in pro wrestling, but that ship has long since sailed in the WWE.
You can't openly promote shows that destroy kayfabe on the Network and then turn around and get mad at somebody for posting a picture on social media. The programming that the WWE puts out does more to destroy the illusion of pro wrestling than anything these guys do on social media.

Yeah but they need to try to get back the people they lost instead of catering to the nerds who already watch the shyt religiously. The people they lost all see stuff in MMA and boxing where fights are getting built up the way wrestling matches used to/should be. It's hard to see that and then care about wrestling when dude's are in a blood feud one night, then taking pictures together the next day.
And it doesn't matter if it's "not real" some of the best angles are the ones that blur the line between whether it's a "shoot" or not.

why is it so hard for people to just turn off the "kayfabe" once the actual televised product ends? They are acting. That's it. Do you need Negan and Rick to be in character when they at the mall or something? Kayfabe died like 20 years ago. Most people just use this debate as a means to shyt on the product because they normally wouldn't have any legit complaints. Roman been depushed and hasn't held the title in a while people still found something silly to complain about.

No doubt the WWE doesn't care anymore, but that doesn't mean the wrestlers shouldn't. They need to take it into their own hands to protect their characters. They have all the power in their own hands with social media. Undertaker protects his character. Brock protects his character. Cena protects his character. Matt Hardy was Broken Matt Hardy 24/7, it wasn't just a character he did when cameras were rolling. But what does he know? It's not like he's ever drawn money or anything in his career
