Titus seem's like one of those chatty types that like posting pics on his trip.
And the shows are at all-time lows rating wise. No correlation?
No. WWE made it clear wrestling was fake in the 80s and it was their biggest boom until the late 90s when you had hated rivals doing comedy skits on SNL together. Shows are at all time low ratings because their bubble popped years ago after they reached full saturation of the US market, which is why they've been so bullish on expanding into new territories worldwide the past few years. That mixed with a vastly different television landscape from 20 years ago and 2 of the top stars of all time leaving within months of each other = steady decline. Despite the ratings decline, they make more money off of merch and tickets than ever before.
EVERYONE KNOWS IT'S FAKE. EVERYONE ALWAYS HAS. No one but smarks thinking they're protecting the business give a fukk at all. That yarn old timers spin about how back in their day everyone thought it was real and blah blah blah is just self aggrandizing bullshyt that wrestlers are prone to do. For every dude stabbing Ole Anderson, there were 4000 more in the same arena that saw 40 punches not connect and get sold all night.
No shyt everyone knows it's fake but the point of wrestling is SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF.
Even though you know it's not REAL, it's about whether or not you can get lost in what you're watching for that moment in time. The hottest angles are the ones that do that. Think as recently as Miz/bryan. We had a LONG ass thread of cats wondering whether what they just saw was real or not. shyt had more buzz than just about anything WWE has done in years. At the end of the day, deep down inside, you still know it's "fake" but you had dudes sitting back going "wait, does Miz really hate Bryan?".
So please miss me with the "it's all fake" shyt as if WWE is just another scripted show no different from say, The Walking Dead. Because frankly, if you're looking for scripted drama, there are a million better options than fukking WWE. The whole point, again, is to suspend disbelief. Nobody is saying every single thing that happens on the show should be taken as a "shoot" but if you can't suspend your disbelief, then why are you even watching?
Before their WM19 match they had a bit at Axxess where Rock went up to Austin's autograph signing and they both joked around. WWE even filmed it and put it on the WMDVD as an extra.Well... Just imagine if you saw a picture on twitter of Austin/Rock chilling at a restaurant right before their Wrestlemania 17 match lol
You don't need to suspend disbelief when they aren't on your screen and in character. If Braun and Roman were chilling in the back in a segment on Raw, you'd have a point.

Used to be on YouTube but I can't find it for anything anymore.

Yea you do. That's the whole point. Everyone knows the matches aren't real fights, but you still want to believe that the dudes you're seeing have beef and that there IS something to it. That's the only way you can get lost in it. Wrestling is not a scripted TV drama show like the West Wing or some shyt, you can't treat it like that. But you're coming at this from the view of a wrestling diehard is gonna watch the shyt no matter what, so of course you don't care.
That's Curtis Axel ain't it?...Is that Nick F'N Gage between Matt and Reigns?
