It's comical how many white people are caping for Mike Vrabel as if he's this great coach in a bad situation.
He deserves to be fired. He's not a good coach.
And sure, he seems like a popular guy among the league and with players.
I have no doubt he will land somewhere as a coordinator and might even get another head coaching job.
But he's not a good head coach. The Titans were an embarrassment offensively while he was there and they did nothing to help it.
It doesnt even seem like they were against letting Vrabel develop Levis. Their problem seemed to be Vrabel wanted to be in a win now mode and ownership wants to do a full rebuild, no half measure shyt.I can't really fault ownership for not trusting Vrabel to develop Levis or whoever their next QB ends up being. He hit on LeFleur and Arthur Smith as OCs but when you keep having to replace those guys you're a bad hire or two away from spinning your tires like they have with no real answers
Saints and Bears still haven't fired their HC yet smh

I was just going off the tweet that was posted here. Guy has 50k followers and works for sbnationTitans’ Owner Amy Adams Strunk wanted fresh perspective in the coaching staff after a 6-18 stretch over the last two seasons, including 1-9 in division games
I took that "fresh perspective" line as wanting to evolve past the grit & grind Henry doing 80% of the heavy lifting offense. There's probably truth to the win now vs rebuild mindset as well, feels like the AJ trade and a lot of other blunders from the previous GM put them in a hole that requires a clean slate and Vrabel's too established to accept that.
We ain't gotta swing this pendulum too far in either direction fr
I feel you and agree. But why would he want the NE job over the Titans? Is it a family thing where all his family is still in Boston. Or maybe he thinks he will have the full trust of Robert Kraft. This is more a mutual parting of ways, and tbh it's more Vrabel wanted to leave than him getting fired
He wants the NE job if Beli leaves and if he doesn't I'm assuming the Chargers won't waste time going for him
The team sabotaged him by trading AJ Brown.Yeah I think Vrabel's not a bad coach but that team might have plateaued under him. Trending the wrong direction past couple seasons
This seems like cheery picked stats. Why do the cut off at the last 24 games?
Also for the other 2 stats, Isnt tanehill seen as a trash coach and didnt the GM get rid of Hopkins?
