He was presented with a few different options in a meeting yesterday but didn’t seem interested according to this video.

Pats fans want Belichick fired for this guy.

Vrabel has won 2 more games than Belichick in the 6 years he's been a HC. 5 of those years Belichick has had the corpse of Cam and shyt for brains Mac as his QB.

We ain't gotta swing this pendulum too far in either direction fr

This is my problem from the reactions I'm seeing. Whether it's traditional NFL talking heads or the analytics crowd, everyone is acting like this is an egregious decision when the reality is that anyone else with this type of record (especially a black coach...) would be thrown into the bushes while people said "the team needs a new voice to take them to that next step." Hell they just drafted a rookie QB who looks really good and I'm not seeing many people whipping out the typical "you need to hire an offensive mind" talking point that happens in every other case like this. It's been weird.

On the flip side a lot of these same people were saying Tomlin should be fired a couple weeks ago tho. I'm not trying to turn this into a race thing but it's just interesting how that "leader of men" shyt only matters when you look a certain way.

You see it right? Tomlin ain’t never had a losing season and dragged a compilation of Trubisky, Rudolph, and Picket to the playoffs but Vrabel gets a pass after two losing seasons because he couldn’t work it out with Tannehill and Derrick Henry in a weaker division?:mjpls:

Yeah, it's really not like they went out on a limb with this one.

I look at it like this: if you're a defensive coach like Vrabel is, you almost get a pass for the offense, considering that he's had to replace his offensive coordinator due to them getting head coaching jobs. But when the defense isn't winning you games, it starts the conversation about whether or not the coach is the best fit.

If the reports of him getting in the way of trading Henry and Tannehill when it was clear and obvious they were both done after this season are true, then he earned this.
