Etienne coming back this year was pointless

No it wasn't... only 1 RB was drafted last year in the first round...and he was rated the 4th rated back at best last year (behind Jonathan Taylor, Swift, Dobbins)

They said he was weak in Pass Protection and pass catching. He felt like coming back would allow him to focus on those areas and improve his draft stock.

He is going to be in the top 3 RBs taken this year. ...probably 1 or 2...aka...he just made himself extra 5mil by coming back.

Think about Clyde made like 10.8 mil (32 pick)

J K Dobbins made about 5.7 mil (55 pick)

Yeah, there's a lot of revisionist history going on in regards to Jake Fromm.

He had a great championship game as a true freshman. There is no way he was getting benched the next season.
