i know you all hate the theme song but it's been stuck in my head even though i finished the show over a week ago.
i'll be walking around like UNBREAKABLE!.. these FEMALES are strong as hell!

watching this now. but I'm not sure why this is on netflix and not NBC given tina fey's track record. especially since I haven't heard a hint of cursing or seen any nudity so far after 2 episodes.

I'm glad it's on Netflix. I don't know if I would have watched it on NBC.

I would NEVER watch it on NBC with it being full of commercials. on netflix, I can knock the entire season out in like one day tho.

Netflix is really spoiling me for tv. If it wasn't for my dvr, I'd go crazy. I hate watching stuff in real time now. Thank lord for the fast forward button.

It wasn't about nudity or cursing. NBC knew that this couldn't/wouldn't get the ratings it needs its shows to get - it's way too specific and "coastal". Networks are still trying to appeal to the flyover states, so broad comedies that you, your moms, your baby sister, and grandmother can watch together as a family is what they're betting on.

The days of 30 Rocks and Parks and Recs on the 4 major networks is almost done.

Network TV is a completely different beast.
