benoit did all that in 2004.
he wouldve been multi-time WCW champion long before then..

No he wouldn't have. WCW would've realized that he couldn't move the needle like the WWE did. That's why he dropped the belt to Randy Orton soon after.

:beli:

meanwhile, BRADSHAW was running around with the WWE title for dam near a year.

you really think the WWE cared about moving a needle?? they clearly havnt cared about that since 2001 and still dont.

Malenko was as boring as they come. He's was nothing more than enhancement talent

the radicals came in and jobbed to an inferior DX.

chris benoit was WCW champion for pete's sake. it took him & eddie 4 years to win world titles ONE TIME in the WWE.

they made malenko look silly and killed off saturn's career.

outside of giving eddie a character to run with, the WWF really did nothing for the radicalz.

You realize on arguably the most stacked name-power filled Wrestlemania card of all time, a card that had the Rock and Mick Foley vs Batista, Randy Orton, and Ric Flair .. had a prime Goldberg vs a prime Brock, Cena's first title win, The undertaker, etc... On this same card.. they chose to have Triple H , not the watered down HHH we know now, but master burial height of power Triple H tap out to Benoit in the middle of the ring and the last images of this historic card was Eddie and Benoit hugging as confetti flew with both of them as Champions.... You do realize this?

They actually booked that

Not just that, the 20th anniversary of their biggest show in their home arena. Two WCW guys going over in WWE's home arena.

wrestlemania 20 was :russell:

they also made benoit & eddie out to be some super underdogs who were priveledged to get their buttered biscuit.

and half of these names youre throwing out there, are piss-breaks to me. im not a WWE universe guy, so im not impressed by these arguments.
like im supposed to be in awe that they headlined over orton & batista, and that john cena won his first U.S. title that night.

Didnt Mike Graham confirm that the radicalz were change the channel status in WCW? He said data showed that people used to switch to WWE when they were on TV

I believe him because he also said that people watched the show when Kevin Nash was on TV which makes sense.

Scott Hall also said something like nobody noticed when they were gone.

So you finding 20 boring negates the fact that vince had 2 WCW products main event the 20 anniversary of his biggest show in the companies home arena ? C'mon man. I'll even give you this, 20 was better on paper than the actual results. Still doesn't take away that it was a stacked card in MSG and the biggest winners and the final picture of the night were 2 WCW products winning and theirv embrace in the middle of the ring. But you don't like some of the guys so that negates everything else.

they stood around in the E for 4 years to get that buttered-biscuit. the narrative was pushed that they did nothing in WCW, and they were saved by the WWE and had to struggle to the top like they were some underdogs in the WWE.

they werent branded as WCW products. stop acting like the show was closed by sting, DDP, booker t, etc. WWE aint doing no solids for WCW guys or any outsiders in general.

yall gotta pay attention to detail & presentation.

Only thing Scott Hall was noticing at that time was whether his bottle was empty or full.

Optimists say bottles are half-full. Pessimists say they're half-empty. Either way, it's panic stations for Scott Hall :damn:

They didn't have to be branded as WCW guys, just about every WWE fan knew they were WCW products. You're the one acting they were Sting and DDP. Benoit was remembered in WCW for a match with Bret and finally getting the strap when the company was near death and Eddie is remembered for a match with Syxx and a faction that wasn't over. Let's not act like they took a step down from their position, it's not like they were DDP going from one of the biggest stars in the company to stalking the undertaker's wife.

XX was more hyped rather than stacked.
a stacked card is what they had the year prior.

other than the benoit & eddie matches, the rest of the big 5 bouts consisted of:
lesnar/goldberg - i'll give you that one, but everyone knew they were both leaving and the crowd chitted on it before it even began.
the rock & old foley in a 2 on 3 against old flair and midcard orton/batista
undertaker/kane 242929:yawn:

how are they presented as WCW products when the pushed narrative was that they were basically held back by WCW??? which one is it?? it cant be both.
i'd even say that eddie was more of a WWE star by that point.

that stuff with bret & syxx is not what benoit & guererro are most remembered for in WCW bro.
