Timbaland really had crickets chirping, panning from left ear to right, the whole "One in a Million"

The word gets thrown about a lot but Timmy is an actual genius with the beats. His 90s beats still sound ahead of their time for 2017. Love listening to his shyt if not just for the music for the fact that i get engaged in trying to figure what the fukk is happening with the patterns and transitions. shyts like a audio puzzle at times :banderas:

I personally liked the Gin & Tim collabs over Missy's. Ginuwine's first 2 albums sold it for me :blessed::blessed::blessed:

Side note. I used to feel so bad beating my meat as a youngin' just after Aaliyah died but she was so fwine though.:ohlawd: :yeshrug::hhh::shaq::manny:

The instant rush of guilt was unbearing. I went from this...:ahh:to this... :dame: in less than 5 seconds.:hubie:

That's what lead me down the dark path to porn... then I discovered the Coli and the JBO section:demonic::shaq:and issa wrap.:mjcry: The JBO turned me out as it's nothing but a hardcore porn wasteland.

Don't judge me, brehs:to:.

Now, back to the theme of the thread.

My personal jawnt from Aaliyah was an obscure song she did with Static from Playa (The singer who did the hook on Lil' Wayne's Lollipop:birdman::mjlol: RIP:rip:though :whoa:) called, 'Loose Rap'.

:salute:Tha dopest shyt I ever heard. She had her foot on Mariah Carey's neck at this time as well. I bet Mariah had something to do with it.:wtb:

The whole One In A Million album is amazing. One of the best of the 90s, no doubt. I loved every song on there.

I think you just had to be there when One in a Million dropped.

It was completely different from everything before it. It was during the time music was changing to more of a synthesized, sonically clean style of production.

Funny thing is, I was actually taking a music production class when that song dropped. And I remember sitting in class and playing that track about 3-4 times in a row completely dumbfounded.

To this day, you can still use "One in a Million" as a perfect example of great production, mixing and mastering.
