Bron is seen as a do it all type of player, but unless I'm mistaken TD was the first player to lead his team in all major categories in the Finals

Against the Nets in 2003....lead in points, rebounds, assists, blocks.

Team situation? Come on, ese.....keep it real homes.

Has Lebron matched this en route to a title?
Imagine LeBron as a career Spur :mjlol:

Tim Duncan winning any championships in Cleveland :mjlol:

Against a 73-9 team not the bum ass New Jersey Nets being guarded by undersized K-Mart and :wrist: Jason Collins, overweight Rodney Rogers, and :flabbynsick: Mutombo

So Cal
The crazy thing is, Shaq and Kobe had each other's help while Duncan faced them every year in the playoffs without another player of that stature. You'd think this would make people appreciate Duncan more.
Kobe without shaq was whooped on Tim.

Outside of Jordan clearly being the GOAT, Top 5 is really just "I like this player more, he was in a better situation, or he played for a highly visible team that everyone liked".
How? Jordan, LeBron and Kareem definitely separated themselves from the rest of the players in the top ten. I think that 4-10 are interchangeable, but that top three isn't going anywhere.

but I’m saying the gap is bigger

Bron was a mvp level by his 3rd year Duncan was by year 2. Both were superstars.

Bron was the best player in the league at 35 Duncan was closer to a role player in his mid 30s. Is all I’m saying

LeBron had serious holes in his game until around 2009. Look at how the Spurs played him in the 2007 Finals.

Duncan was polished and had the complete package from the get-go.

I like how people are acting like the Spurs weren't known for perennially coming up short in the playoffs before he arrived.

It's not just that they didn't win titles. They were often losing to teams that they were favored to beat in relatively early rounds.

I also like how people are forgetting that Manu and Tony were far from stars in 2003 and that Robinson was :flabbynsick: for most of the period where he and Duncan were together.

That's how you feel? Wonderful.

I'd take Dream over Kareem if I'm starting a franchise. Shaq too. That's how I feel, and that's also wonderful.

The Spurs were able to play him that way because LeBron was the only true offensive threat on that team...and LeBron's only serious hole was an iffy jump shot.
