Respectfully…

This idea of Tia Mowry ho’n it up is crazy. Who checking for her???
mane thats a real question

once she gets lonely again what real mature nikka worth his salt on her level economically and socially would ever take her seriously after hearing all this??? her only options are to be a jumpoff for the rest of her life or settle for a nikka even worse off than the one she left

Your argument anchors on the idea that she left her husband for some new dikk. She tells us that she left because she was unhappy in her marriage.

The definition of content is "in a state of peaceful happiness", if she is unhappy, she definitionally can not also be content. It is a fact that Black kids under 2 parent homes do better in life but being in a chaotic 2 parent household is not beneficial which is why she likely reached a crossroad where the options were "stay and be unhappy" or "leave and be happy".

Stop it. This is pure childish egoism and it should be chastised. We can't build families with these type of volatile behaviors.

This is opening the door for nonsense. Well the doors been open, now they breaking the wall.

So now what would she say if a man asks "you were in a 'successful' marriage, and still left your husband because you believed you outgrew him. How do I know you won't waste my time too? I'm looking for someone to grow old with, how do I know that is who you are if you've shown that you're willing to abandon your wedding vows because of 'self love' ?"

This is narcissism masquerading as self empowerment. This is a multimillionaire woman in good health in the richest country in the world with hundreds of fans ready to validate her every thought. This is yet another example of why nobody should marry a celebrity who wants to talk about their marriage all the time. The most successful Hollywood couples seem to be the ones who don't want people to know what their relationship is like. They keep their business as private as possible like normal human beings instead of attention addicts.
A long with that new witchcraft shyt they doing now.

I lurk sometimes on LSA, especially regarding topics like this, and it's mind-boggling how different the responses are there than here. I think Tia sounds absolutely crazy and (although I hate the word) narcissistic, yet on LSA, they're saying she's "glowing up", she's "a queen", etc. I don't think it's fair she can say all of these things on air, yet her soon-to-be ex has yet to say a thing. She's inadvertently dragging his name, whom she has kids with, through the mud for literally no reason. If you fell out of love, just say that and keep it pushing. Wow. And Tamara speaking about the issue, again on-air, is very weird considering who her husband is. Speak only about your issues, Tamara.

People keep rushing in here to frame this split as some rash decision, "childish", "volatile", ignoring that she's been married to the brother for a decade. She didn't wake up unhappy one day and called it quits.

Well, that's what she did. She's giving no reason for her divorce other than she's not happy.

It's basically a kid saying I don't want to bath because I don't.

Again, I asked you the question, if a child who has been unhappy with their parents or parent, now a teenager, can they abandon their parents or parent for happiness?? what would you call that child

Again, I asked you the question if a parent says that they are unhappy with their choice with being a parent, what would you call that parent if they decide to abandon their children or child??

Would you be in here trying to frame them finding happiness as a good thing???or a "take care of yourself thing" You said that the vows need to be changed, so I would ask you this, should the laws on the books be changed if a parent decides to abandon their child/children so that they can find happiness and peace??

Should that parent be placed in a positive light like how you are doing with the Tia chick, because nowhere in this thread you called her out or shamed her for being a home wrecker and abandoning her husband, are those parents just as right/or can be viewed from a positive angle as Tia?

But this brings up a deeper point. Why did you automatically assume that he must have cheated or otherwise wronged her? :jbhmm:

Why did you immediately jump to that instead of the possibility that maybe she's the issue?
Because she came into the topic “on code” from the jump… :troll:

What's the purpose of getting married for these people? They treat it like dating. If someone is not abusing your or cheating, there really isn't a sensible enough reason to leave.

This "I've grown past them, I've evolved" garbage is a weak reason to jump out in the streets. I had an ex who sister did that to her husband, but she came back. I knew what it was. She met some new guys and thought that social life was better than her marriage. Her husband did nothin gwrong, she basically said he was boring and wasn't "growing" with her.
