I love this thread
I've been wondering why other than The FiyaStarter Podcast, why the other Black Podcasts I listen to haven't talked about this movement?
I'm listening to this past Tuesday's episode of "The Black Guy Who Tips" podcast & it's clear the reason they haven't talked about it is because they think Black Economic Empowerment is just some Hotep shyt.
@Rekkapryde
Really??
I've heard way too many of Rod's episodes that has said otherwise
He was mocking White Hoteps on this past Tuesday's episode (Episode 1254) using characteristics & themes of Black hoteps that they often shyt on. He said something Slick about moving their money to a white bank.
It's also odd AF that Rod & even Kriss from The Insanity Check Podcast/Movietrailerreviews.net who both talk a lot about Black issues & news on their podcasts, haven't even bothered to talk about this movement on their podcasts.
I heard Rod say something slick again in an episode from last week.Hmmmm. Might have to drop them a line
I can't wait to listen to thisAs of September I still see it is going strong.
Black-Owned Banks Are Gaining Ground In Big Cities
Black-Owned Banks Are Gaining Ground In Big Cities
Funny this was bumped im in queens right nowand just saw a polish and Slavic credit union
And people really were trying to say this movement is racist on blacks part
These muthafukkas kill me with that argument. Go to flushing main street count the asian ran and owned banks on that fukking strip....
Count it!!!!!! how many asian led banks you need in one fukking neighborhood?!!? And we only got one known black bank in Jamaica... And Carver is not black owned anymore...
bump.
blacks really need to keep this momentum going. they still out here killing us in the streets with no consequences. the least you can do is stop spending your money with them when possible.
God damn. It's sad that every other group "gets it" except blacks. Blacks really are the only ppl who fiend to run behind ppl who don't even like us
if a black owned bank opened in san diego, i'll be there on opening day.
