I've been wondering why other than The FiyaStarter Podcast, why the other Black Podcasts I listen to haven't talked about this movement?
I'm listening to this past Tuesday's episode of "The Black Guy Who Tips" podcast & it's clear the reason they haven't talked about it is because they think Black Economic Empowerment is just some Hotep shyt.

I heard Rod say something slick again in an episode from last week.
I forgot to post that some weeks ago I heard a radio advertisement for Mechanics & Farmers Bank. They were talking about the importance of banking Black and banking in your own community. I was 
because I have never heard an advertisement for a Black-owned bank or any type of financial advertisement on Black radio that wasn't for high-interest loan places. This was on a gospel station. I hope they advertised on the hip-hop stations.

It is but we had tons of banks and businesses before integration. But somehow we abandoned them.
Also we have to remember that those other folks have countries. It is much harder for us to generate wealth we don't have a country of ours that we can send back and forth material and finances.
If you went to a Mexican bank in the US or Chinese bank you would be absolutely amazed at the amount of money being sent back and forth between the Us, Mexico and China by regular folks who own bank accounts in those countries.
I will never forget having a day labor job and seeing lines down a block of Mexican folks standing in line at Western Union to transfer money to Mexico for their family.
