Which kinds of blows my mind when people always talk the "black and brown" struggles. Black hispanics usually arent even considered when they use the "hispanic" figures in data, and the issues non black hispanics face are much different than blacks and root from much different causes.

They have a ton of financial resources that they can combine...
if all the black people in world united and stuck to a code of black first. We would eclipse that...#facts but we still fukked up and still fractured by land, tribalism, and c00ns selling us out left and right.How silly of us to forgot that in America Hispanics are not a disenfranchised group like Blacks and Native Americans. Of course they would have more banks than us and its known.
I don't think that Black banks have even 1% of the money in banks in this country. There are individual Black people with more money than One United.

What's your point? Our banking numbers is a reflection on how much we choose to support bkack institutions. There were 40/50 BOB in the 90s now we are down to 20+. I bet most blacks people you know don't have their money in a BOB
Why didn't they name the Asian and Hispanic banks?

"Good point and all. But now... Do these black owned banks get the same funding as the Hispanics? Were Hispanic owned banks targeted like black owned banks? Do black owned banks even get bail outs like Hispanic owned banks?
All that has to do with language barriers. All those immigrants that can't speak English, of course they are going to go to a bank that speaks thier language.
Problem with us is we don't have a language.
And lets not forget that Hispanics and Asians ESPECIALLY(proven) have a system outside the USA that supports them and so they do not have to rely on the American government to keep the lights on.
SMH, this movement has to continue. Black banks have to market themselves better, get their name out there
