Wiggins is a slasher/ physical type his 3 ball is decent enough. He's avoided sophomore slump & shown nice improvement in 1 year. And is not scared of contact.

His playmaking is weak and handles need improvement but that fixable in time. Also need to improve effort on the boards.

Towns only weakness is he's too soft. He likes to avoid contact and shoot away from defenders way too much. I'm sure he'll grow out of it. It's why he barely gets to the line while Wiggins eats there.

I'd say that Wiggins has the more upside potential while Towns is the more closer to his ceiling now.

nikka, what? Wiggins is NOT a great passer or playmaker, he's barely average. Dude misses SIMPLE passes and cuts all the time which is why Rubio still has a place on that team. They trust LAVINE more with running the offense than Wiggins because Wiggins has tunnel vision. Wiggins misses easy cuts all the time which is why he typically has really simple plays run for him.

You're just assuming he's a great rebounder because he's athletic. Come on.

How many wolves games do you watch?

Since Kobe fell off, I moved on to watching the twolves. I watched EVERY game of Wiggins rookie year and about 80% of the games last year.

His passing and playmaking is underrated. I won't say he's great like Kobe. But he's pretty good. Alot better than the assist numbers show.

I watched him pass well out of double teams when he's iso-ed.

Watch the kid play more before talking this shyt. League pass aint that much.

They'll probably be bad. I think his progression follows the Kobe/T-Mac model. Starts a little slow. By year 3 or 4 he's a burgeoning star.

Listen, I'm a big Wiggins fan, but the dude still looks awkward dribbling the basketball and clearly doesn't have a deep understanding of basketball yet. He simply needs more experience. The problem with the Wolves is they didn't force feed him the rock enough thus far, and now he's going to have to share touches with guys who are more polished coming into the league which may hinder his development--and he doesn't have the personality to demand touches.

I also think Giannis needs more time to prove that he can be a big time scorer on top of the other stuff he brings to the table. If he ever becomes a good shooter then the league will have a problem.

KAT...he has a ridiculous array of skills on both sides of the floor. I've never seen a rookie come into the league with no real weaknesses. He has post-moves, can finish with both hands, can shoot off the dribble, turnaround jumper, can shoot the three, can set screens and roll to the basket well, makes great cuts, can dribble, great on both the offensive and defensive boards, blocks shots, great defensive positioning and awareness. I feel like once the current crop of stars age out of being great that KAT will be the best in the game.

And thats why I say he's already maxed out.

Kid is really skilled. And that will make him a great player.

But all-timers are typically FREAK athletes who keep getting better skillwise as they age.

Towns athleticism isn't great enough to be an all-timer.

Wiggins is athletically on that Jordan/Kobe tier. Its all about honing his skills and developing that killer instinct.

If you watched the games you would know this. Rubio and Towns play alot of high pick roll that gives Towns the ball in the top of the key allowing him to drive or kick it to shooters if the defense collapses.

They mostly use Wiggins as an isolation or post scorer so he gets less chances to get those cheap assists from a rotating defense trying to defend the pick n roll.

If you watched the games this would be readily apparent to you.

But instead you try to be an arm chair analyst using basketball reference.

Wiggins hasn't shown dominant rebounding ability so where is this coming from. Giannis is better in pretty much every category right now and you acting like being a mental midget doesn't fukking matter. Giannis has ten times the mental toughness that Wiggins and you act like it doesn't matter.

And Giannis has a ceiling that's just as high as Wiggibs plus he's constantly improving and he's fukking hungry. He has that "Westbrook" mentality while Wiggins simply...doesn't. He's never dominated like his physical gifts said he should. Dude is Dwight Howard except he's not even that talented and you got the nerve to compare to a kid that's two months older but was averaging damn near a TRIPLE DOUBLE as a PG.

And I'm not gonna even argue with you about Towns. Towns has a bigger impact than Wiggins in pretty much every available metric on the floor. It's like comparing Tim Duncan to Gerald Green. Wiggins averages 2 assists a game and has subpar vision. Show me some examples of Wiggins having elite playmaking ability or vision because I HAVE watched plenty of Timberwolves games.

He's a decent scoring talent and good on-ball defender. He's a less versatile and talented version of Melo lmao.

I've watched Wiggins execute the pick n roll to perfection many times. Typically at the end of close games when they need a bucket. His ball handling while less than ideal is more than adequate. His vision is also very underrated.

Wolves were just very badly coached and preferred to let that bum Rubio run the show rather than play thru Wiggins or Lavine.

I watch the games. You read box scores.
