he wont even be the best player in his team, wiggins will

:mindblown: anthony davis all over again
Haha, I may be wrong, but...KAT appears to be a special special player to me. The mental side of the game is where he excels. It's not just a skill thing. His basketball instincts are extremely high.

If you think KAT > Wiggins you are a dummy and dont know shyt

Shut your dumb ass up. You haven't posted a single decent basketball thought on this entire board. Go make out with a loaded shotgun :scust:

As for @Swagnificent , are you just arguing Wiggin's potential to be great or are you talking overall impact? :jbhmm:

And I think you're really denying how important mentality is when discussing players or denying how important things like basketball IQ is. :leostare:

You seem to disrespect what basketball IQ, motor, court vision, awareness, and all-around ability can do for a player which is weird because you're a Kobe Stan who is a perfect example of skill and IQ being more important than athletic ability. :leostare:

Giannis has a Westbrook mentality when it comes to putting pressure on defenses and his motor. Dude grows exponentially from game to game. You see him adding different post moves, polishing his footwork, using a variety of ball fakes (Both in half court and in transition), and he's a fukking monster.

I'm a Giannis Stan but if he tightens up his stroke, you're talking a 6'11 athletic monster who can travel the entire court in like 4 strides and poster dudes like Ibaka from near the free throw line. Wiggins is obviously more explosive because he has GOAT-tier in the quickness of his jump but he's not nearly as strong as Giannis plus he has that "shies away from contact" especially when he's finishing.

But you're actually right in that Wiggins has all the talent in the world but I don't see the hunger and consistency to want to be the best. He doesn't want to destroy teams and take it to them like dudes like Wade, Kobe, Lebron, Westbrook, etc.

I hope I'm wrong though but Giannis has that "dog" that I don't see Wiggins having while being just as talented. As for KAT, dude is probably the most skilled rookie I've seen.

Dude is a basketball genius just like Hakeem was. :manny:

Lmfao @ picking thon maker at number 2 .. Many people had him falling to number 2. Round 2 that is ...... Now, he can be a nice player, but slow your roll and stop comparing him to the likes of Brandon Ingram, cuz that jus ain't fair 2 son.

Show me where I said Anthony Davis was an all time great,i never said that.

I said Towns can be an HOF,not an all time great, when you think of all time greats, you think of MJ,Lebron,Wilt, etc

Steve Nash will be a HOF,Towns can reach that level.

But I'm not going by stats,I'm going by the eye test,Towns and Giannis is better than Wiggins bruh.

:umad:
Both towns and davis have all time great potential...especially Towns because he has a good team around him. Davis will have to leave NOP

:russell:Buddy Heild will be the best player in this draft. He will have the best career and teams will be laughed at for passing on him.

Because things like ball handling, playmaking, motor, vision, rebounding, etc don't matter.

Lmao

Wiggins hasn't shown dominant rebounding ability so where is this coming from. Giannis is better in pretty much every category right now and you acting like being a mental midget doesn't fukking matter. Giannis has ten times the mental toughness that Wiggins and you act like it doesn't matter.

And Giannis has a ceiling that's just as high as Wiggibs plus he's constantly improving and he's fukking hungry. He has that "Westbrook" mentality while Wiggins simply...doesn't. He's never dominated like his physical gifts said he should. Dude is Dwight Howard except he's not even that talented and you got the nerve to compare to a kid that's two months older but was averaging damn near a TRIPLE DOUBLE as a PG.

And I'm not gonna even argue with you about Towns. Towns has a bigger impact than Wiggins in pretty much every available metric on the floor. It's like comparing Tim Duncan to Gerald Green. Wiggins averages 2 assists a game and has subpar vision. Show me some examples of Wiggins having elite playmaking ability or vision because I HAVE watched plenty of Timberwolves games.

He's a decent scoring talent and good on-ball defender. He's a less versatile and talented version of Melo lmao.

And thats your problem.

I'm sure every metric during the regular season said Curry was better than Kyrie.

Then the finals came and Kyrie dominated him one on one.

Wiggins has really good passing and vision. Unfortunately he rarely has a chance to show it because Rubio is such a ball dominant PG. He's also got tremendous rebounding ability. He's just lazy most games and floats around the perimeter.

Maybe he's a lost cause like Dwight and no coach can push him to reach his potential?

Or maybe Thibs can push him?

I'm betting Thibs gets the best out of him.

I think the problem with these simpletons is they don't watch basketball.

They see good stats as a rookie and assume he'll keep getting better and better.

Little do they know some guys max out their potential by the time they hit 21. Other keep getting better till they're 27.

Towns has near his ceiling already. Like Davis last year. While Wiggins is barely scratching the surface.

Who cares what other people say. Make your own decision about a player.

These nba gms aren't infallible. They've missed on many a great player.
