I'm tellin y'all he's a star.
Best player in the 2016 draft after Simmons.
Shoulda been the #2 pick.
LaVine is probably the most talented young player in the nba stupid.
His ceiling is stupid.
He could be the next Kobe.
nah i see it too Lavine can be the next Kobe. dude has it all just needs to work on his game a little bit more. now he has a real coach coaching his ass and not that dead beat sam mitchellu meant to say gerald green
Lol dude is not nearly as good a prospect as Ingram, this is common sense
Thon Maker rookie stats per 36 mins: 14.5 PPG (45.9 FG%, 37.8 3FG%, 65.3 FT%), 7.3 RPG, 1.5 APG, 0.6 SPG, 1.7 BPG.
Brandon Ingram rookie stats per 36 mins: 11.7 PPG (40.2 FG%; 29.4 3FG%, 62.1 FT%), 5.0 RPG, 2.6 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.6 BPG.
Across the board, Thon Maker had better numbers than Brandon Ingram. And this was with Thon being on a team trying to make the playoffs while Ingram was on a team trying to tank. Put Thon on the tanking Lakers and his numbers are much better.
After one season, there is no question that Thon Maker is the better NBA prospect going forward.
Brandon Ingram was terrible this year. Why is he the measuring post?
He isn't a measuring post. I was just responding to someone who said at this time last year that Ingram was better than Thon. Through one NBA season Thon Maker has proven to be significantly better than Ingram proving what I said last year was true.
Thon Maker should have been the 2nd overall pick in the 2016 draft.
Maybe!
He didn't have a better season the Chriss. Or Jaylen Brown. Those two, and maybe murray all out performed him.
But I hope thon pans out. The guys I know in milwaukee says he's busting his ass, which is huge for a dude with that skinny frame.
Just check out my OP in this thread. It was linked to an interview. When I saw how this kid carried himself, plus how athletic he tested at the combine, I knew he would be great.
When you combine great natural gifts and elite work ethic, greatness is inevitable.
Thon Maker will be GREAT.
