Fighting racism ≠ fighting for justice.
how are you defining justice?
Fighting racism ≠ fighting for justice.
how are you defining justice?
no need to get lost in semantics. We're talking about treating people fairly. Its really not that complicated.Justice is an extremely slippery term, and I think the argument should be left at "fighting racism", not moved to "fighting justice" which is vague and subjective.
To answer your question, I define justice as a process
It is... and you did it again, you used "fair" another slippery term.no need to get lost in semantics. We're talking about treating people fairly. Its really not that complicated.
It is... and you did it again, you used "fair" another slippery term.
Why cant we just leave it at "fighting racism"? Why do we have to move the goal post to something more subjective and easily defended?
I think in this instance the issue is racism, and we should keep it there...Its not moving the goalpost. I used different terms, because it seems just the mere mention of racism is taboo in some conservative circles. If you don't think morality, justice, equality or things a society should attempt to conform to because its too "difficult" to define and/or agree on then cool.
I think in this instance the issue is racism, and we should keep it there...
... and racism isnt taboo among, it just appears that way because it is the lifeblood of the democratic party, and every democrat(politician) understands this.
quote from one of his thingsi dont understand this post, is this what you are saying or is this a quote?
I believe this is true, and I would love to hear your argument(s) to the contrary.
I think both parties are(and have been) working to keep blacks at the bottom of the totem pole and without wealth.I would argue racism; actual racism and the denial of racism is the calling card of the Republican party. Those claims and practices energizes its base of poor white people against other poor non-white people. Dems don't have to sound the racism bell to get the black vote.
quote from one of his things
So basically you never hear of this man before.i still dont get it, what was the purpose of that? where is the link? is that your evidence that he called black people lazy?
So basically you never hear of this man before.
No you shouldn't be outraged.are you high?
im just asking for 1) the link 2) why dont you use the quote function to distinguish your words from somebody's else's 3) where is it that he said black people are lazy 4) what exactly was it that i was suppose to get from the quotes? am i suppose to be outraged?
