This Will Smith+Jaden Hate is ridiculous.

That's the thing though breh, it had nothing to do with the Smiths, it was just that the movie didn't look appealing to me from the gate. That alone is reason for me not watch it. There doesn't have to be a justifiable rhyme or reason to it. You like what you like, you don't everything else.

What happens is now these a$$holes try to rationalize why one person doesn't like something they do by saying dumb shyt like "the nepotism is strong in you, Y U NO LIKE Will you selfhate etc" Nevermind that because they have no basis for that argument, it turns into a shytstorm.

Its like the Tebow effect. You had plenty of people who didn't care either way about him but the amount of bullshyt you had to hear as to why you were impartial to him as if you ACTUALLY hated him MAKES YOU WANT to hate him. Makes it easy to point out the flaws and be vile towards supporters as a direct response to their gayness towards an individual.

That's how I feel about this AE bullshyt. I actually liked him but for the sole purpose of all these goddamn threads on my screen about a mediocre sci-fi flick with a kid lead that I will dislike anything associated with him because I'm tired of hearing about him. And that's the exact opposite of what but riders intended to do.

Just like the bytch tendencies these guys have, its similar to your girl always running her mouth about how you want to fukk some girl you actually don't, that the next time you here this bytch say it again, you will fukk the shyt outta the brawd, don't wash up, and make your main chick give you head before you throw her in the bushes. Her excessiveness pushed you that....same logic imo.

Most people in this thread aren't talking about the quality nor the performance of the film. The OP even said the film was bad.

nikkas in here talking about the kid is overexposed when he's only been in four films to date over the span of 8 years.

Some people are saying 'I wouldn't hate him if his movies didn't suck" even though half the films he made have been critical and financial success'.

The majority of the time when i hear anything about that kid it's because somebody is talking shyt about him saying he's arrogant, weird, spoiled, or some other shyt you couldn't possible know unless your some gossip obsessed teenage girl.

I'm not in here defending the kids acting or some damn movie I've continually said I haven't seen. I'm just pointing out how inaccuracies of some of the things people are saying.

I get that. And Im not saying you specifically but the long ass post I did was just to illustrate its quite possible that people who actually may not have cared for his performance either way will act like how you said, as a direct result of being ostracized for not OMGWOWZERRZ like extremists were about it. Saw it Friday afternoon. Not good. Plot moves too slow (a feature of every M Night failure) and the movie's too dull for a summer blockbuster. I didn't think Jaden was good because he was out of his element. He could never hit the right note. Either he was completely unemotional or overacting entirely. No middle ground.

They never explained why after 1000 years of no humans on Earth the animals have evolved to hate them. Giant plothole. And the accents; what the hell was Will thinking with that? I didn't think it was worst-movie-ever territory. Just a really bad movie. I'd give it a D+ or C-.

Read what you typed. After 1000 years animals, insects, and plants have not come in contact with humans. Do you really think they will react peacefully if they were to cross paths with a species that they aren't familiar with?

If you watched the movie and didn't like it that's fine. But from reading what you typed, you either wasn't paying attention to the movie or you didn't see it.

Not all of them. Again, how do you evolve to kill something that hasn't been around in a millenium?

I was bored. I don't about blah blah blah on the ship because it wasn't interesting and neither were any of the characters. And when I say Jaden was out of his element, I mean his dad put him up on a role he wasn't ready to take. Acting without anyone to bounce off of is hard, let alone do it for most of a 2 hour movie. When he was shouting stuff like "I'm not a coward!" I just thought he did a poor job of overemoting, shouting instead of acting.
