Yep, i first thought my MV-8000 sounded a lot better than FL Studio but once i recorded the beat and played it on the laptop, i found out it was not a big difference.
But it's true that drums out of a MPC immediately knock while in a DAW you gon need some FX.

As 35yrd and as someone getting back Into producing I see this a lot . Part of me knows it just a sign of the times and trap and lofi is just popular . Then there is a part of me that understand that trap sems like it's an easy sub genre to get into and make money . Which is why you have a few producers eating off of the "type beats" wave or what not . Lofi was what it was called in the 90s it was called boom-bap .

The bad thing about all this is it's not pushing the genre forward as whole . That's why a guys like madlib and jdilla are revered as much as they are because they can do any style of music and make it their own .

I do plan on doing something cause I'm get into as many producer avenues as possible . Like YouTube , IG, Distro kid etc . It's a unique way I want the world to see me as a producer as well as the musicianship that goes into hip hop . I got a few ideas but unlike these young nikkas the music has to be good which is forgotten. I come from the ear that if you sound like somebody else you were looked down upon clowned even...

where can we look up your work?
