I have really notice that White people really love Django Unchained. Just like on the same level as The Help and The Blind Side.

This about it like this - it's a movie about a slave killing white people so they had to compromise by letting white people hear the N word over and over for 2 hours or they wouldn't support it.

a lot of people here going so hard defending QT and it's baffling. You can watch the movie for entertainment value and simultaneously admit that people who have a problem with the movie have some merit. It's not that hard.

People complaining that slave owners were calling blacks the n-word? You are meant to be upset and want to see Django do what so many of us fantasize about. A movie should entertain and immerse you in the story. I was wary about the film (you can look it up if you don't believe me), but after seeing it I felt the n-word was used by the people who would say it and with all the negativity unlike now where they are trying to act like the word is doesn't have horrible history.

I tried to listen to Corey talk about this movie, but he came off as overly sensitive about the fact that they used the word. It was like he went in looking for things to not like about the movie. I bet if it was the same movie but directed by spike lee no one would try to pull the race card.

Corey tries to hard sometimes to go in on his points no matter how ignorant it sounds and he can never be wrong.

What the hell do you mean they had to "compromise"? Did a evil secret board of white people meet with Quentin before he made the movie to work out this compromise or some shyt? :heh:

it's 2013, white people do not get their jollies off by going to the movies to hear the N word. Why would a racist white person go see a movie about a Slave uprising and murdering a ton of racist white folks just because the N word is in it? :what:

The logic doesn't hold up. So no, it's not "baffling" that people are defending QT

the soundtrack was :lawd:

when that rick ross track came on :ohlawd:

Jamie Foxx was perfect for the role, I couldn't even imagine Will Smith's personality in that role. Jamie was a certified bad ass.

Also, who doesn't like Schindler's List? That movie is a classic.

absolutely. I've been whistling that song I posted above all day makes me feel :salute:
