:wtf:

Should he have made up a slur?

No but he shouldnt have to use ****** so excessively just to get his point across

Tarantino uses it for nothing more than shock value and in the context of slavery its fukkin disrespectful

I dont get why u dudes keep tryna defend this shyt

If u liked the movie ok but dont act like Tarantinos not tryna make a buck off of our own oppression

:what:

Did amistad use ****** a hundred times for shock value tho?

Did amistad include cartoon violence and comedy?

these lil anecdotes aren't defending your argument
:comeon:

Amistad was a historical drama depicting a true story.

Django wasn't. IB wasn't.

I just don't feel like n!gga was used all that much in a derogatory way. yes, it was said a lot. But most of the was used in conversation, similar to the way that n!ggas say it today. The excerpt at big Daddy's house, they were saying it in a way that black people were referred to as. It didn't convey the same type of sting that it was meant to when Candie used it.

Bottom line, great movie, and it has people talking about it waaaaaaay more than they should. All because Quentin Tarantino made it, but he's been getting so much backlash from the industry since the beginning of his career, that he obviously puts out movies that shows that he don't give a flying uff what they think. Honestly, no one but Q has the balls to put out a movie that shows a freed slave whippin whites and shooting innocent white women. Hell, Q made Jamie as invincible and bad @ss as John McClain, Rambo, Riggs & Murtaugh, and whatever other action movie icon you want to put out there.

Had a black director made it, it probably would've been black on black shooting.

How does a movie based on a true story have less n words being thrown around than a fantasy made up by tarantino?

And is the Amistad less accurate historically because it has less n words?:whoo:
