I don't think it's fair to say Chris Bosh can't be a franchise guy when he put up the numbers he did in Toronto and isn't allowed to put up those kinda numbers in Miami. Those Toronto teams sucked too - player personnel wise and coaching wise.

:wtf: Did you read my post? I addressed all of that.

Wade's numbers damn near mirrored Lebron's their first year together. Health has more to do with how he's playing now than Lebron. Bosh was never a franchise guy, period. He is an example of a talented guy who was on bad team and as I believe Jeff Van Gundy says "somebody has to get those points". Bron has nothing to do with this nikka grabbing < 10 boards a night. No excuse for Bron leading this team in rebounding. Obviously your points are going to take a hit going from 1st to 3rd option however I do think the offense should run through Bosh in the post more. If he devoted himself to playing big man basketball then maybe he would be better.

I am still waiting on someone to explain to me how this 6'11 nikka grabbing 7 reb a game is not only acceptable but the fault of someone else. If he was a true franchise guy there is no way he would be 3rd wheel spot up shooting glorified tall 2 guard status right now. You put a prime Duncan or Shaq or Dream on this team with Bron and Wade and while they might not be scoring as many points they would be grabbing double digit rebounds and beasting in the paint on both ends (well Shaq would on offense at least). nikkas had to wait for Lebron to develop a post game in order to have a post presence.

Were the Raptors as a team stellar when bosh was scoring all of those points?

No.

So him sacrificing his game for the betterment of the team which resulted in a finals appearance, one ring and another ECF appearance should mean less to him than being the man in Toronto? :ohhh:

Why do you guys insist in making the routine that is sacrificing your game for the betterment of your team, new or old, as a slight to another player?

You guys are beyond stupid

The audacity of this jackass calling someone stupid when he's the same idiot who argued that music doesn't influence people :russ:

Bosh was a more effective player in Toronto. His PER in his final season with the team was 25.0 and his best with the Heat thus far has been 20.0

His success in Miami comes from playing with the best player in the world, the 2nd best shooting guard in the world, superior role players and superior coaching. He dumbed down his game and tripled his playoff wins. There's nothing wrong with that, but Lebron has not made him a better player. He's made the game easier due to being LBJ and has brought Bosh more success. There is a difference.

When you have 3 super talented players on one team, one of them is going to have to be reduced to a shell of what they were. In this case it was Bosh. He is NOT a better player with the Miami Heat.

Chris bosh was never a post up type of player, but he did average 10+ rebounds his last 2 seasons with the Raptors. I agree that 6.9 rebounds game for a guy of his height is not good enough, but he's showed in the past he can be a legit good rebounder.

I said music affirms people's mindset that are already there.

Second, the entire "making him a better player" argument is pure media fluff. It's just dumb. If a player leaves and gives up something for the betterment of their team, you guys insist its a crime now because of your personal feelings about a player.

Amazing how one of the most basic thing we've seen play over and over again in sports (dr. J, Kareem in later years....etc) where a player takes a smaller role for their teams success now has some sort of blame attached to it because you new age niqqas insist on perverting the normal.

And he's not worse either. He's just not getting as many shots and for whatever reason he is not getting to the boards like he did in TOR. How many nikkas have you seen be better as third options?

I never said Chris Bosh is wrong for taking on a reduced role. It brought him a ring, 2 finals appearances and lots of money. I actually really respect that he was able to put his ego aside for team success.

I did say however that because he's taken on a reduced role that he's no longer capable of getting the most out of his talent level. The team structure and talent don't allow him to. Whether that's a good thing or bad thing is entirely up to Chris Bosh's perspective of things. He doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

But is this Bron Bron's fault?

Is it? Lebron is a very good rebounder and Wade is a good one too for a shooting guard. Bosh's rebounding numbers were destined to go down along with his scoring.

Bosh's role on the team reminds me a bit of a bootleg Kevin Garnett. The Heat basically took the Celtic's blueprint and improved on it with younger talent at the wing positions.

No....you just brought it up in a Bron thread and are now distancing yourself from criminalizing Bron as having some sort of fault in bosh sacrificing his game.

It's funny how when I added the ingredient of "team wins" to the equation, suddenly the Brons fault thing you were pushing loses its steam.

Bosh is a great third option but I'm not seeing how he isn't a worse player?

He's statistically far less efficient. You pointed out his rebounding has dropped significantly, so how is that not worse?

I personally feel the team will be better going into the future if Wade becomes option 3 and bosh becomes options 2, but I doubt Wade's pride will allow him to accept that.
