So, in other words, you have no other explanation except for contradictory double talk :dahell:? That is stannery. You just said Lj has a direct effect on their w/l record, except when they lose (just like you said before). That is as :snoop: as it gets.

The blame for losses is on the team, not Lebron individually. Lebron makes his teammates better with his play by putting them in positions to win games, whether it be his passing, defense, or offense (drawing defenders then kicking for open shots). He keeps them in close games, so if the team loses it shouldn't fall square on his shoulders. But when they win, more often than not it's Lebrons direct effect on the game.

And I should have said "in basketball, one player has a direct effect on the team's success, despite it being a team sport" in my last post. Lebron can give you the game of his life but if the teammates don't pick up the slack and do their job, the loss is on the team as a whole.

All this is the same as saying that when they win, it's because of him, and when they lose, it's everyone's fault but his. How are you able to say such things publicly? Moreover, his defense is horrendous :snoop:.

I said the loss is on the team, Bron included because he's a part of the team. But Lebron gives you the best chance to win games, hands down. He's the trump card in the league. What team you put around him determines if you win it all or not. And I'm not saying when you win its all because of Lebron, just that you'd lose a hell of a lot more games without him. So lets not pretend like he doesn't make his teammates better, and lets not act like when they lose its all on him.

So, Miami, a team that went to the Finals, wasn't enough? He didn't disappear from most of the quarters? He didn't get punked by Kawhi again? He didn't play horrid defense? He didn't play poorly in last season's Finals when Miami got the ch'ip? He didn't play poorly in the 2011 Finals? What about the '07 Finals?

The fact that they made the Finals all 4 years and won 2 is a testament to how much of an impact Lebron has on a team. The Spurs were the better team this year. Lebron played fine, nobody else on the Heat stepped up.

He didn't disappear from most of the quarters (the stats say different -- you can read about it by clicking here --and so does the film) ? He didn't get punked by Kawhi again? He didn't play horrid defense? He didn't play poorly in last season's Finals when Miami got the ch'ip? He didn't play poorly in the 2011 Finals? What about the '07 Finals?

I gotta ask you this again:

I thought the 60 regular season wins primarily are a result of Brons play. You're arguing that?

LeBron James learned enough in his first season with the Miami Heat to know that there would be growing pains when he returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers. That has been evident in the early going, with the Cavs off to a 1-2 start after being blown out by the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night.

LeBron had another bad game, going 4-for-12 from the field and missing the last six shots he took. After the game, LeBron came close to sounding like he was blaming his teammates.

“I’m just trying to do other things to instill what it takes to win,” James said, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. “My mission is not a one-game thing. We have to do multiple things in order to win. We have to share the ball, we have to play defense, we have to sacrifice in order to ultimately win.

“A lot of bad habits have been built up over the last couple of years. When you play that style of basketball, it takes a lot to get it up out of you. But I’m here to help.”

No one is arguing that LeBron makes the Cavs a worse team than they were last year, but he needs to start hitting shots. He is shooting just over 40% from the field and has turned the ball over 14 times in three games. LeBron has been part of the problem — not the solution — in Cleveland’s two losses.

Blaming the teammates aka the cabin stewards huh?:sas2:

Like I told the Heat stans, when the ship sinks the Captain (the best player) is supposed to go down with the ship.......why yall trying to blame the Cabin Stewards (the role players)?:mjpls:

Damn, this thread is never ending:ahh:

LeBron playing like trash and he's not making his teammates better:wow:

Kyrie averaging 18 points on 34.7% FG, Kevin Love averaging 19 points on 40% FG, Waiters averaging 8.3 points on 33.3% FG, and Tristan Thompson averaging 10.7 points on 43.8% FG.....:scusthov:

I already know yall gonna say, "bu-bu-but....it's only been 3 games":mjcry:

But NOPE:ufdup:

This goes back YEARS:snoop:

Chris Bosh looking like it's the 2009-2010 season all over again, but really, it's all because he doesnt have LeBron watering his game down anymore like he was doing from 2011-2014 on the Heat.:obama:

Bosh is back to playing like Toronto Bosh....the Top 5 PF in the NBA:salute:

Pre LeBron (2009-2010 season) 24 ppg and 11 rebs while shooting 52% FG....After LeBron (currently) 25 ppg and 11 rebs while shooting 50% FG:ohlawd:......last year with LeBron, 16 ppg and 7 reb:mjlol:

LeBron just DOESNT make his teammates better:yeshrug:

LeBron doesn't make his teammates better at all. Yes he gives set shooters open shots but those set shooters would get those open shots on any team because they are on the team to hit open shots created by the best player and they would never be expected to create their own shot.

Kobe actually did make his teammates better by they way he practice and his approach to everything . I remember how Ariza praised him for making him a better shooter by giving him a his shooting routine program and Sasha a better defender by helping him learn how to study film better

@Microfracture....I see you viewing this thread, what you gotta say breh?:sas1:

I know you watching all the games and dont see anything LeBron is doing to make an impact on Kyrie, Waiters, Thompson, Varejao, or Love. They are playing like they always play and LeBron just stands around the perimeter watching them.........unless he has the ball, and then he creates or drives.

That's not conducive with playing with a Kyrie Irving, who's also use to running the offense and being ball-dominant (as he should, being that he's the natural PG anyways). Unless LeBron starts playing off the ball with some type of energy and intent, the team is gonna struggle to work together. LeBron, Kyrie, and Dion are all ball dominant players.

LeBron is a GREAT talent, GOAT talent, but he just doesnt make anyone better. He just needs to play HIS game and quit worrying about anything else. This passive ass LeBron aint gonna do anything and he needs to step up as well instead of blaming "The Help"
