I have no idea when we'll see Rock again.
I fully expect Cena to lose to Cody and dip though.
I can't see him not winning the belt this year.......or maybe that's the play as it's expected

I just don't think he cares enough at this point plus with him I doubt that heI can't see him not winning the belt this year.......or maybe that's the play as it's expected
Breh these dudes are about money, the idea that rock was trying to sabotage fukking WrestleMania to spite HHH from 30 fukking years ago and 2 careers ago because of the kliq is the most wrestling nerd bubble I've ever heard.
There's levelsYou on this muthafukka more than me and you calling somebody else a wrestling nerd![]()
The big fat elephant in the room that everyone sees is the whole thing is forced and rushed. Should’ve just gave him the last victory lap he deserved. Didn’t need to swerve anything, he doesn’t have enough time to make his anticipated heel turn worth it.
You just described late 80’s and all 90’s wrestling. Storylines took forever to unfold, look at Bloodline. It was hot as fukk and then they had to dial it back, most of us aren’t even thinking “fukk is Roman doing”. Everything is time sensitive instead of it being immediate gratification and it makes a much better story.I had a few issues with the first promo, but overall, it got the point across and I was willing to give it a chance. Then he cuts the same promo a week later.
I don't think Cena believes what he's saying. It's like he's pretending to be a heel instead of embracing it. He literally sounds like he's forcing the words out of his mouth. At the core, every heel turn is justified. It makes sense within the story being told. Drew turned heel because he was tired of losing and refused to take responsibility for his failures. New Day turned heel because they felt like Big E wasn't committed to the group anymore and they wasted years of their career waiting for him to come back when that was never going to happen. Naomi turned heel because she felt like Jade wasn't deserving of her opportunities and was tired of being overlooked and disrespected.
Why is Cena heel? Because the fans made him upset? The John Cena I've been watching for seventeen years, the guy I've seen acknowledge the audience multiple times and how they treated him, wouldn't say what he's saying right now. If he turned in 2011/2012, his promos and justification would be more meaningful. He would have been the hottest heel in wrestling. Now, it just comes off like something he has to do right before he retires, so he knows what it feels like.
Triple H's booking is for the moment. You'll get big moments like SummerSlam last year or the Elimination Chamber, but the weekly shows and long-term storylines move at a snail's pace. You get these huge earth-shattering events and filler in between. Cena as a heel should be must-see TV every week. But you can tell he's not into it, and once they come back to America, the crowds here are going to recognize it and call it out.
Does anyone know why the Final Boss' would co-sign his chosen champion taking the belt hostage and retiring it?![]()
