This job hunt is pissing me the fukk off now. Why doesn't anyone want to hire me?

i had my wake up call this summer now im back in school tryna make it work
what i learned is patience i know guys that went back to school at 25, my opinion is if you're in your twenties dont be ashamed to go back to your parents chill out and get another degree because the longer you wait the harder it gets and time flies 3 years aint shyt i hate that paycheck mentality people have get some degrees and build a career if you dont wanna own your own business humble yourself

Had an interview last week and I was told I got this job with a paralegal...and I was supposed to start today. Yet today, I have received no input via phone or internet from them.

Sorry for making a thread like this but I am so mad I could literally just break everything in my bedroom right now. It seems my roommates have no problems finding jobs with honest employers that won't jerk them, but everytime I find a job where I think it might be profitable/fruitful it just ends up being a) a scam (worked for a security company that promised work placement but only took $400 from me for three useless certifications, worked for a timeshare company answering phones and only made $240 total in comision) b) complete BS (I worked for a "marketing company" selling escos door to door only to get jerked by my bosses and had to fight it out with them just to get $220).

I've searched damn near everywhere for a job and no one wants to hire me. fukk! I hate this sh!t.

I know how you feel, it took me over a year to get the job that I have now, the only advice that I can give you is to keep on trying, you will eventually find something.

Sometimes a better job opportunity and lower cost of living are just better Outside of NYC. I was in your same position in NY and didn't want to leave because I was so accustomed to NYC life.

But it's a reason so many NY people move down south breh. Ima tell you like my mans from the Bronx told me before he moved to Florida "if you ain't making ATLEAST over a dub (20) an hour then NYC ain't the place for you bro" .

I finally moved down south and got paid more AND had cheaper rent

You might love NYC but NYC don't love you back.

I feel you bruh. I just moved here last year though. I want to atleast get 3 years out here to get some valuable work experience that I can use to get a job somewhere else. THEN, I'll move. I'm definitely not planning on staying here permanently.

I have a clean criminal record. I've had tons of jobs in the past...and I know you're but really mayne...you don't know me other than what I said in this thread.

You need to get someone (a professional) to look over your resume. You gotta grind though. Try to send out your resume to 20 jobs a day. You'll find something eventually.
