He wasted a lot of beats on himself for a spellI fw Daz and he’s a legend for sure but most people haven’t heard these Daz songs.
And no Daz is not better than Dre. He’s behind Battlecat and Quik too
One of my all time favorite Daz beats but most people don't know he's the producer behind it. While theres effects put on his vocals to make him not so easily identified that is indeed Daz saying "we funk g-funk" throughout the song. Produced under the pseudonym Young Jedi as Suge wasn't clearing anything for Def Jam due to a still unknown hatred for Russell Simmons, even Reggie said he doesn't know the real origins of Suge hating Russel but that he despised him as much as he did Puff. But yeah Daz in my top 5 for sure.

Nah you dont...I just wanted to point out that no matter what era you pick or what songs you select you'll inevitably find that that eras sound is directly linked to a handful of other producers. Like the tracks you picked only 1 of them Dre is the primary producer and one of them, the biggest one in fact, he didn't even produce at all. And ppl can call cap all they want but the paperwork and demos dont lie, that's tangible proof of what pretty much everybody that's ever worked with Dre and even himself has admitted publicly several times over - Dre dont touch a beat til its about 85% done.Surely I dont have to mention the most obvious stuff.
