if you didn't make it out the first level, than you really didn't give the game a chance :yeshrug:

I can see how the graphics might turn people off, but other than that the game is top-notch IMO. you have to look at the level/room and figure out a strategy. and if your strategy succeeds it feels very satisfying. you feel like the man when you bust in the room, knock one dude down with the door, pick up his bat, beat down the dude next to you, and then throw the bat across the room at another dude
Its not graphics. I've played and enjoyed plenty of retro games. It was just stupid as fukk to me. Trying to time my little bat swing to hit the enemies before their bat hit me is not very compelling gameplay IMO. I died a bunch of times in that first level, made it out and really had no desire to do it again.

Agreed. Everything is affected (including PC games). Broken games is the norm now, with no fukks given.

The Wii U is a good system though breh. It's got more great exclusives than anything else right now.
yep!

Most people complaining on the lack of good games this gen (like the TS) are hardcore ps4 stans. Most WiiU and X1 gamers are generally happy as we've been eating quite well for past year.

Buy a ps4 based on emotional feelings then bytch about there being no games brehs.....:heh:

The gaming market is eventually going to collapse. The cost of developing games is too high. The budgets are out of control. If a studio doesn't do insane numbers on these AAA titles they shut it down after one game now. Ubisoft's bottom line depends on putting out a game like Assassin's Creed annually. If the game is broken they just get it half functional and ship anyway while playing games with the review copies to minimize the reviews effects on sales.

Even on the indie front Double Fine had no issue shipping half a game in Broken Age then they ran out of development money and needed more funding. This is the new normal. Games are more of an ongoing subscription service than a finite product. They sell you games and they almost require you have internet to use them.

Real talk. games are costing as much as live movies and creativity is damn near dead to any console that ain't Nintendo. More gaming studios are closing left n right.

X1 and PS4 get nearly the same third party games.

Topics like these come all the time. The problem is you guys will keep buying the games. Nothing will change.

Saw the thread title and thought it would be a socially conscious piece on how millennials are off to a bad start regarding education, asset ownership and opportunities.

But it's a console rant.
