Lord. Everything here is wrong.

For starters, the injury doesn't happen because the defender pulls Pollard down while holding his waist.

The injury happens because the defender purposely uses his body, specifically his hip/butt, to sit on the runners legs. You can literally play the video and see this at :1 sec. Again, your momentum when making a tackle from the side does not allow your legs to go UNDER they go around. In other words, the tackle ends up being a rolling twist.

Secondly, it's not unintentional when the point, like the horse collar tackle, is to land back on the runners legs. That's literally the point of this type of tackle.

I don't get what's arguable here. When have you ever made a tackle and swung your legs under you accidentally??? It's why all the LT videos where he's moshing dudes from the side you see his legs swing wildly with disregard. This is not a regular side tackle where the runner and tackler continue to go sideways and then the tackler lands on his hip. The defender CLEARLY swings his left leg under his body to create momentum backward and land on Pollards legs to stop him from moving.

You can say he didn't mean to hurt him. But that's the same thing that was said about the horse collar tackle.

I played, plenty of the niner brehs know I played. I've made plenty of tackles like that exactly like he did. He ain't no contortionist that's able to twist his body in all kinds of ways. He simply made a textbook back angle tackle. You wrap up no matter the angle, any other way is a broken tackle or a sled ride.

I swear to God I KNOW anyone who actually played tackle football on defense would tell you this as well. This tackle gets made tons of time and it really is nothing out of the ordinary at all.

All facts. Same thing happened to Deebo when he got hurt, same tackle, nobody was mad at the tackle, we were mad at Kyle for running him up the middle. It happens unfortunately.

He purposely dropped his weight onto Pollards legs. When tackling from that angle your feet do not swing UNDER you, they swing around causing a whiplash effect.

You can clearly see the defender pull his left leg up to create momentum to then sit back on Pollards legs. It's a dirty play.

That was a basic tackle. Stop it.

Its only being called dirty because Pollard got injured. its natural as hell, is coached and performed often, especially for DBs against bigger RBs to avoid broken tackles. Pollard got like 15 pounds on Jimmy.

Aint nothing dirty bout these tackles. They football plays. Muafukkas out there running and moving 18-19 mph going different directions. Dirty implies intent. These football plays.

Brehs never tried to tackle runners in football. DBs just trying to make sure RBs don't break the tackle and go off, sometimes grabbing on those legs for dear life (pause).

I see nobody mentioned why the cowboys really lost the game
Jerry Jones picked the wrong time to be cheap and gave up on cooper, thats why they was trying to get Odell
Look at the conference championships and see what the weapons look like, maybe you wouldn’t have Dak trying to be Superman forcing throws like he been doing the whole year

I understand the moment, they played a better team, a number 1 defense and lost
It’s a reason why Jerry was making media rounds for Odell

If OBJ went there it still wouldn't have stopped that bum from throwing picks

OBJ knew it would be like playing with Baker all over again.
