oh stan is most certainly fukked. you can't be living across the street from russian spies and not know, at least as far the fbi is gonna see it.

You're right, but I don't know if I can handle another Breaking Bad Ozymandias 2.0 type situation.:sadcam:

In the earlier scenes, Stan sounds like any of us,lol including me, on our most self doubting, self conscious days, regarding that woman at the gym.....There is something to be said for social grace, and tact, but ask her out already! Everyone's gone through that phase, though Stan is like 20 years too old for that, though I suppose 15 year or so of marriage, plus ugly divorce will do that....

Edit: at later gym scene, oh, for sure, there's something off with that....

Final scene and that dinner, were tense, uncomfortable, borderline disturbing.

What's so dark about their relationship with Paige is that, they are both ruthless killers. Clearly, they would never kill their daughter, but every time they sense she's a liability, it's just natural thought, logically, they use killing as a problem solving tool. Paige is a problem. That's the kind of emotional darkness the show excels in.

Stan dating Andrea from TWD now :leon:. Definitely a step up from The Governor for her.

Henry being at the arcade for most of the episode :heh: aka the library.

CIA putting the squeeze on Oleg in Stan's name :bryan:

The normal parent/child difficulties are elevated so much by the stakes of spying. Paige/Matthew looks weird to me, just because he looks older and she still looks like a middle school kid.

Honestly. I don't see how this can end well for anyone.

Phil/Liz: they either die, go back to Russia, or go into hiding.

Paige: she's a teenager. she's miserable already. knowing her parents are spies and she can't have a real relationship with her boyfriend has to be tough.

Henry: His world will be rocked. He's clueless to so much, but it sounds like this year he starts to wonder what is going on. His close relationship with Stan might doom them all.

Stan: Your best friend is a Russian spy and you're an FBI agent whose soul purpose is to find Russian spies. I assume it's instant means for getting fired. Not to mention his relationship with Oleg could come back to get his for treason.

Stan is :mj: all over the lines of treason right now.

If he ends up defecting to the Russian side somehow and the series ends with him having Liz and Phil as his handlers and Henry and Matthew are still oblivious. :dead:
