Show has taken a noticeable step back for almost a full season now. Pretty disappointing.

Strongly disagree. Coming to terms with the potential futility of their "job", the needless corruption that they are essentially fighting to protect, etc. To me, this is The Americans fulfilling it's promise. This was the direction the show had to go.

We know how the Cold War ends. We don't know how Elizabeth and Phillip end.

Hillbilly Phil & Liz :bryan:

This was a pretty meh episode, the weakest of the season so far. The mindfukk by Gabriel at the end though... left Philth with a :merchant: :dwillhuh: expression

Who is making you watch?

No one is making me watch but me, I've been in it this long, may as well see it through, but just because I watch it doesn't I have to agree with your take. I think this has been the weakest season, in the grand scheme of things nothing has really happened.

Among the people that are still watching each episode only garner a few post

That was a nice speech Gabriel gave Paige. Almost made me forget he was the scumbag that denied Phil's son from meeting his dad.

Ehh, Gabriel wanted to tell Phil about his son but Claudia gave him the  and he had to send the boy back to Russia. shyt, it was this episode that drove Gabriel into retirement, he couldn't do his job right anymore because he's too worried about Phil & Liz.

Real talk, I started finding this show kind of boring around the time Nina was in prison, and gave up around then. It was watchable enough, but individual episodes didn't feel like they were really building to anything and I wasn't getting as much out of the show as I did initially. Did I make a mistake?

This has been the weakest season of the series. Boring episodes every week
