I watch the entire series each Summer, and notice different things each time.

Marlo's last stand on a corner is a popular scene. His last chance to stand in the environment he thrives in. Never noted or remembered that an almost duplicate scene was shot in season 3 as Prez sits in the unit house surrounded by the surveillance equipment one final time before that chapter of his life ends. He even breathes deeply like Marlo did.

David Simon said it's a common misconception that Cutty stayed and waited for the police after he called them and said "I just shot a nikka come get em". It's based on a true Baltimore story and the real shooter didn't wait for the cops either. Whatever Cutty was locked up in Jessup for, it wasn't that shooting.

Never realized that Wallace was a half second away from snitching on D’Angelo, while in the interrogation room, but instead he just says that D was always good to him.

Also never realized that Prez heard Wallace on the phone, saying that he was going back to Baltimore when he was supposed to stay hidden. Prez never notified the lieutenant that Wallace was on his way back. If they had known, they could have tried to keep him there or protect him, and he might have lived.

Also, his teenage girlfriend Tyreeka (The Corner) who had his child played a role in season 4 of The Wire. I wouldnt be surprised if their son had a role on the series as well.
