If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
I really hate white women in HR roles...these two positions were for Sr. System Admin roles...

The technical dudes were fine with how I interviewed and one was a Japanese dude who was so impressed he was trying to hook me up with his daughter...

It was the cac HR chicks gatekeeping, looking for any scrutiny to sink me.

I didn't get either position and checked the Linkedin months later and they hired basically two incels w/o a comp sci degree or much XP to oversee thousands of assets and dozens of services....

My PhD dissertation is going to be on this kinda fukk shyt.

These arent exactly interview siutations but they are a good indicator you are about to have your time wasted.

If your interaction with the company starts with someone emailing you about availability for a phone screening. If they're truly interested, they will call you directly and screen you on the spot.

If you hear "Hi, I'm _____from Robert Half Technologies"
Same goes for Tek Systems as well, I've been corresponding with them since 2018 and til this day, nothing has ever materialized from dealing with them, fukk them

IF a recruiter says their calling about some vague opportunities they think you'd be a great fit for, but first some quick questions.... They're just data mining and trying to look busy for their bosses.

IF they mention having more than a 2 phase hiring process. CyberArk told me they had 7 rounds of interviews, for a $61k annually, Systems Analyst position....

I've obtained $85k+ SysAdmin positions with the ease of signing up for a Costco membership but you want me to jump through the mother of all hoops for this shyt? I promptly told her to dont even bother and withdraw my application.

If an Indian recruiter calls you, you can be 99.5% sure it will lead to nowhere

It's not completely set in stone, but panel interviews is almost a dead giveaway you will more than likely not get the job just due to how group dynamics work. Not saying decline them, but be aware. Especially if more than 3 people are part of the panel. I've had panel interviews of 6 to 9 people.

check this shyt, Back in 2009, I interviewed for a groundskeeper position at a community college paying 9.82 an hr (Yeah I tend to hold onto shyt lol).

I had to be interviewed by 12 people on a panel for a trash man position....Muthafukkin 12 people!!!!!!.....all of them black, who might as well had been the staff of Blavity; Bunch of uppity over dressed azz negroes grilling me about my ability to put litter in a bucket and dump trash in a compactor for a whopping $9.82 an hour in a big azz c-level executive style office I had to walk through a boilerroom underneath the campus to even get to. All of them combative and standoffish. I didnt even know they had this many black people on staff, but apparently they keep them around in the basement just for this situation. It was the most demoralizing interview experience I ever had to the point caused a scene and chewed their azzes out for this over the top bullshyt; I decded I was gon go out like a soldier.

4 months later ,they extended me an offer lol... I already had a job paying 16/hr by then:mjlol::snoop:

I got hired off a panel interview once...only once in my entire work life...my bad twice.

My bad, but panel interviews trigger the shyt out of me lol

'You had an impressive resume but we're looking who more closely align with the company's needs'

With that said if a place doesn't get back to you within 48 hours you may as well keep applying.
Yep if they really want you they'll come for you

I’m getting back on the grind (:francis:) and had my second job interview today. I think it went well. Was vibing with the boss and even told them I wasn’t eligible to work one area and he said he didn’t have an issue.

But I got the “we have another interview today” and “I’ll pass this one to HR to see” lines, so I’m :shaq2: about it. The job listing was just posted 2-3 days ago, so maybe it’s legit. :jbhmm:

I will turn this question around and say "Questions they ask you that make you not want the job"
I interviewed after college back in the late 1980s and I was going anywhere professional who would hire me.
I interviewed at an insurance company and one of the last questions they "asked" me - I was filling out a questionnaire - was " Do you think you could bring the names of 10 people you know to the next interview who you could potentially sell insurance to?"
Even my inexperienced ass knew that they were just fishing for more cold call candidates after they rejected me.
I did not return.

:gucci: 15 people?! These companies are getting more and more disrespectful. Just give me one or two interviews at most and only with people who know what my job entails and lets get this over with. If I don't get the position, just tell me I didn't get the position. Damn

Companies like to play games with this shyt like women.

Word up! The fukk was he interviewing for Jedi Knight? In front of a council and shyt…
