Don't understand the comparison or the idea that he's being pushed as Tupac. Totally different dudes who are/were looked at differently by their respective contemporary media. If you just mean greatest of their generation, you're looking at it with hindsight, re Pac. Pac was going during a time that was very competitive and there wasn't some consensus he was the great aurer of the hood back then. Yes, mainstream media thought he was a great poet, but also thought he was a thug, who with all of his wisdom, was reckless radical. Like a best of their so-called "gangsta rap". I think they see Kendrick in a different light.
