- Mets are 16-4 in the past 20 games started by deGrom, Syndergaard and Wheeler. Proof that you cannot break up this trio.
- They had won their past 12 of 18 entering Sunday, outscoring their opponents 110-56.
- Matz, deGrom, Wheeler, Noah and Vargas have combined for a 1.39 ERA over the past nine games.
The pitching, all things considered, is a strength. The problem is the bullpen and the offense.
We are 11-15 when deGrom starts. We should definitely be over .500 and like 20-6 based on the way he has pitched.
If that happened, we'd be right in the thick of the wild card race at a minimum.
Oh and the GM doesn't matter the Wilpons are the GMs... they are going to sign Sean Rodriguez and James Shields.
