Mets are getting slammed and rightfully so. This organization is an embarrassment, we really need the wilpons to die in a car crash.
Don't trade deGrom or Thor, just keep them, there is obviously no plan going forward. I don't trust the front office or the wilpons to get proper value for either

Mets fell the fukk off. For years I ignored the "Wilpons need to sell the team" comments but over the last 6-8 years I'm on board with that belief. This team will never compete unless they get rid of these owners. They are toxic. Blunders all over the fukking place. Embarrassing trades year after year. Embarrassing press conferences, never signing the right player, always playing second fiddle to the team in the Bronx.
Both last year and this year I gave up on this team exactly 1.5 months into the season as they were already out of it. Especially this year with the world cup there was no way I was going to invest my time watching this trash team. And I've been following this team since 1992 when I was a kid, I got the family pictures at the old Shea and everything. I even saw them at Port St Lucie a few years ago while on vacation.
This organization couldn't handle a door closing let alone front office moves by a professional club. I just read that Cespedes spoke out about his two bad heels and needs surgery, I wouldn't be shocked if they pushed him to play against the Yankees. This is the same organization that forced Pedro to pitch cause they had some tickets sold against Dontrelle Willis and the Marlins. Ces probably been telling them about this for months now and they keep putting it off. Damn near 60 days on the 10 day DL list.

I don't think our return was that bad. The Mets made a fool of themselves with the Ces management but strictly regarding the trade, I think it was good enough. Did we really expect a player like Familia to give us a teams top 3 prospect? I didn't.
