Cespedes should have been batting for Mesoraco. He DH'd last night. Would only be in for that one at bat in a crucial bases loaded, no outs situation. Have to question what Mickey was thinking there.
Why would you think that? Alderson has done some good deals and now we have 3 people working together and then seeing Fred/Jeff about it.
The best player he's acquired via trade was Noah..and he wasn't even his top ask. I'm not gonna get into a whole essay on why Sandy pisses(d) me off, because believe me I can, but generally his trades have underwhelmed since he's been here. I'm just glad this team is getting a new GM soon.
None of the front office has addressed the stuff regarding Cespedes possibly having heel surgery that he revealed yesterday. They wasn't getting an at bat today.

It's a bad deal. Those guys will never play major league ball. This is the front office you trust to trade Degrom and further set the team back though.
