Given how Eiland and Callaway have rehabbed them and made them competent pitching makes me optimistic about the rotation going forward. Their apprehension with going deep killed an already suspect bullpen and that's where the season was lost. Twenty two games ended up in the loss column because of that unit.
If he wasn't a dikkhead, he'd have been the closer all along. Familia never gets that shot.
As far as today, start trading pieces now to get max value. Don't wait until the trade deadline. Call up Alonso, McNeil and make Peterson a permanent fixture in the bullpen. Let them develop at the highest level.
