Yup the hawks released a statement.
What we do know is bud requested to be removed from president and remain the coach. They are evaluating our front office and its still likely Wilcox could be let go.

If all of this is true maybe we can get a real GM in ASAP before the draft and 1.) assess the roster 2.) get our draft strategy in order and 3.) make decisions about Sap & THJR and probably decisions about Wop and WOAT. I've got to think management would love to keep Sap, THJR, move WOAT and are 50/50 on Wop. He can't be a focal point but he can still be effective

Schroder, Prince, and THJR can't be let go. We prolly really need Millsap, and I think Wop still has a role with this team. What this team really needs is a Draymond Green/Ben Simmons kinda of guy. I can kind of understand because they have spent the entire year scouting talent in the upcoming draft. Last time we fired someone prior to the draft was Larry drew and he shared our Intel with the bucks front office. They ended up taking giannis one spot before us.
I do want a different gm to handle free agency for us tho.

This team is gonna look drastically different in a few months. I'm not even sure who will be available at 19 (Hawks draft spot) or 31 (1st pick in the 2nd round) for us to be excited about. I guess it would have to be BPA and go from there
I still like Wop, he's not dominant and he's not a focal point on offense but he can still defend and rebound. What I really wanna see is if they try to move WOAT and clear up some space.

Long term it is probably best to let Sap go. 
He is up there with my all time favorites even tho it's only been 4 years with Hawks. So underrated.
I don't see this core winning unless you get Jimmy or PG without getting rid of current core members. If possible. I can only wish
We are stuck with Dwight and Baze. Maybe they turn it around. I thought Dwight would have stopped the shenanigans at this point in his career.
Baze had his moments. Hopefully he puts in work this summer to be consistent.
