Basically he committed voter fraud. It's thoroughly explained that lose voting rights as a felon or ex felon. If he was indeed voting then yes he was committing voting fraud. Not too many people think about losing voting rights when they contemplate committing a felony.
Huh? Ex-felons in Florida CAN vote. You seem to be completely unfamiliar with what was happening in Florida:
Florida gave voting rights to people with felony convictions, but now some face charges for voting; Amendment 4

In 2018, Florida voters passed a law that immediately gave all felons who have completed their sentence the right to vote unless they were convicted of murder or sex offense. For the murder/sex cases, they had to appeal to the State Clemency Board first to get their rights restored.
In 2019, DeSantis and Florida Republicans in the legislature tried to overrule the will of the voters by passing a law that took away the right to vote for any former felon who hadn't fully paid back any fines, fees, or restitution costs. That disinfranchised nearly 800,000 people, most of whom didn't even know if they were eligible or not because there's no easy way to check.
In 2020, a federal judge blocked DeSantis's bullshyt law, saying that it was unconstitutional and would create massive voter confusion.
Just a couple months before the 2020 election, the 11th Circuit Appeals Court overturned that judge's ruling on a 6-4 vote and said the felons who hadn't paid fees were still ineligible. All 6 of the judges who ruled in favor of DeSantis were Trump or Bush nominees, two of them had originally been nominated as judges to the Florida Supreme Court by DeSantis himself before Trump then raised them even higher.
For a large number of ex-felons, whether or not they can vote in Florida is completely confusing. DeSantis intended it to be that way on purpose.
