1. You're still talking about something wholly unrelated to the topic. Which is voter's rights. Regardless of any other issue, there are clear differences and laws in place between Red and Blue states on this one. But I respect the debate, so I'll keep going.

2. Median Household income for African American's is around 50k (that's 20k lower than national average). Not perfect, not great. But in 1990 that was around 35k adjusted for inflation. So across the board African Americans are making more money than they did 30 years ago. Mostly because of educational attainment aka federal loan plans/Pell Grants and reduction of discriminatory hiring practices. All of those being leftist policies. Also, African American women have attained more degrees than any other cohort in America over the past 15 years. But I forgot, women's accomplishments don't count.

3. Asians do vote...what is this statistic coming from? But there are flat out LESS Asian people than black/latino people. Going after their vote like that isn't the most efficient use of resources. Also, they have become MOSTLY democratic over the past 30 years.

If you actually read the Covid hate crimes bill, it doesn't do anything directly for Asians only. It's a broad bill that's really designed to strengthen existing hate crime law and policy, strengthen reporting and data collecting, and provide greater resources and incentives to states.

Militants are upset because Asians are the face of the bill and it implies that they are getting favored treatment (understandable) when the bill doesn't live up to that perception. Also, there is an obsession with having the word "black" in every sentence of a law. And if "black" isn't included, then the law or policy somehow doesn't help black people or falls short of whatever imaginary standard that's been created.
