And it's their store. You have got to be a complete dumbass to continually let people commit fraud and credit card scams, especially if it's rampant in area.
But going from your criteria, people do what they want with their property, so if they think she is suspicious buying a $2500 purse with a Rush card, then shyt....sounds suspicious to me!
If we know that these places dont want "our kind" then we need to create our "own". And lot's of times, these discriminations are done by employees with their own suspicions. Do you think they pulled people together that morning and said "make sure no blacks come in here, company policy!!!"

Her "flaw'? Her flaw is that she chose to support Barneys with a check larger than one she will ever see for the rest of the year, instead of doing something to upgrade her childs future in some way.
Only lower income people get larger tax returns, especially if you are 21 and work at Home Depot. She has one child, and is about 7 months pregnant at this very moment. Likely a single parent.
The word flaw is not a disrespectful term, its a true statement. It is a flawed way of thinking to think that she should take her largest check of the year and get a handbag.
Where does this thinking come from? Mostly what WE perpetrate on tv and Worldstar. We have to hold our "leaders" more accountable than to say "You are a BUM if you aint wearing 40000 shoes."...

If her situation is exactly as you've said it is, you are absolutely correct. The gist of it is, WE DONT KNOW. We can "what if" all day long-- maybe she is married and cheating on her taxes to get more money, maybe the father of her child is present and supporting the child, maybe she doesnt have the mentality you say she has and loves getting an education, maybe she got 3000 back from school and invested that in her kid, maybe she will spend five times as much as that on her kid when she becomes a nurse, maybe she spent every loose nickel on her kid during the year and decided to splurge this one time, maybe her kid will see her in school and value education too, maybe she'll graduate, move into your neighborhood and contribute more to the community that any unflawed person you know.
I dont know any of this. She didnt bring this on herself by shopping. She fukked up by being black.

I know this because she said it in the article lol. And that she is currently a large pregnant woman in the photo used for the article, so this would be her 2nd child.
Also her job was listed in the article from her, and she said she used her tax return. Common adult knowledge lends you to know why you get a certain level of tax return, lets not be ignorant here.
Your tax return when you work at a plae like Home Depot will be your largest check of the entire year. Most people tax returns are their largest check of the year. I mean let's not be ignorant again here.
I might be the only person worried about the actual young lady and her future when all you all care about is some fake social outrage. I will re up this next month and see how much everyone cares about social profiling, meanwhile we have another young child being raised by a mother will some misplaced priorities that some adults around her can help her spin her thought process into a greater direction.
Thats not a knock on her, because I dont know her, but I do know some obvious facts.

You know good and gotdamn well this young woman isn't a manager at Home Depot. And the story goes, and she admitted, that she put the money from a tax return to open a new bank account, so your little made up fantasies aren't real. She paid for a handbag, almost 3gs, with a blank debit card. In case you dont know, you can't verify an ID with a blank nameless debit card, but you can swipe money with it. So for any regular idiot, that would put up a red flag.
NYC has issues. Stop and frisk is ridiculous. Anyone who is not rioting over that drivel should sit their asses down and shutup over some young chick overextending on a purse and getting questioned about it because she used a blank atm card.
