That third paragraph was a wild turn.

I don’t think secular humanism readily lends itself abortion or transgender people doing headstands.

Compared to a lot of Western countries, America is a outlier in terms of religiosity (meaning, you’re more religious than the average Westerner) but you likely have higher rates of abortion compared to say France or Canada.
moral disorder the logical conclusion of secular humanism bc who or what is the determinant of good and evil? some abstract “well as long as you don’t hurt somebody” (which is downstream of a christian ethic in the first place but i digress) shyt?

at the end of the day it’s each person’s opinion. humans are fallible and got evil shyt in ttheir heart all the time guiding that opinion.

also europe has historical cultural continuity with old-world catholicism and the reformed spinoffs..also their population skews old as fukk because they stopped having children after secularizing so ofc they aren’t going to have as many abortions

What explains gross moral disorder in modern-day theocracies? Or even past societies that had state mandated religions?

This “moral disorder” is a wash.

Indeed, there’s likely less evil in the world (compared to the more religious past) with religious pluralism/tolerance being a value which originated in the Enlightenment. We now more readily extend compassion, empathy, and materiel aid to people who worshipped different faiths than we would have 1,000 years ago…

You can't be serious. Anyone who has read the Bible knows how inconsistent that shyt is.

As a christian marsupial I can confirm of such things because breh:

moral disorder has always existed bc its inherent in the human heart but it was never promoted as a cohesive cultural ideal.

now it’s literally anyfukkinthing goes and there is no standard. you think its a coincidence we live in the most materially prosperous and secularized age the world has seen ever and simultaneously people are miserable as fukk

The wealth gap between African Americans and other groups has increased, we’d be even more behind with that living 46M.
K...

Well if we are culturally the same as we are now yea that makes sense but who knows. 1 of that 46 million coulda been the 1.

I think people were just as miserable or more so when feudalism was the law of land, you had no labour rights, women were second-class to men, and if you worshipped different than your monarch - you were put to death.

Assuming you’re Protestant, @dr. pill biden, you wouldn’t be very happy in 16-17th century Germany

A lot of you quoting that tired statistic already complain about crime rates and single mother-hood, and if half of those kids were born and 1% of them turned to crime, you'd be blaming single mothers and Black dysfunction.

A bunch of kids with Black wealth moving towards $0 and the Supreme Court about to cut EPA regulations?

In 15-20 years when you are well into your 50s shopping at the local market, those kids going to run-up on you and you'll be dodging bullets in your flip-flops.

:manny:
You just created ideologies for me in your mind.

What a demented imagination for kids who never had a chance.

Pathetic. Guess it's time for y'all to be more responsible then. If you don't care about the babies why do I need to care about you?

Yeah but the experience is certainly different when you can afford some shyt.
Most of these women kill their kids for selfish reasons. Refuse to change their behavior and take their irresponsibility out on a child.

I wonder how many of the couldn't afford it crowd find money for thousands of dollars of frivious material things..

Cultural issues that refuse to be addressed.

That explains a lot. There’s a Papal Encyclical that confirms aspects of rationality philosophy but it was written in 1998
fides et ratio

faith and reason don’t contradict brother

but “aspects” nikka. SECULAR HUMANISM by definition lacks faith. can’t fly a bird with one wing!!!
