Yeah, something about her skin is off. It has that look of bleaching. Some black people go to dermatologists to get their skin evened, you know if you have hyperpigmentation then you have areas that appear darker than others, I think when they go in with the intention of smoothing that out, it's effectively bleaching but less harsh than alternative methods. I don't know if that is something that can be avoided, but any black people going in for that should make it clear that they don't want their skin lightened. Should probably be searching for black derms when going about that.
