Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I have all the confidence in the world that we're going to win. Jimmy was raised around who people consider the GOAT QB and coach... Shanahan made it a point to get all of our super bowl legends back in the building, daily, to interact with the team.. Not just this season, but since he got there. We got a super bowl winner on the D and another who played in one on our line.

All that is saying, I don't think this organization lets Super Bowl week get in their head. We not gonna fall for the same pitfalls like the Chiefs, all excited to be there. Already promising rings. Hearing how they're gonna destroy us easily. We playing it real quiet right now. Not talking. Not gassing up anything.

I think when the night comes. We're going to do what we been doing. Shut them down on defense long enough for the O to stretch the lead. Then slow you down while we slow it down and win. nikkas acting like Mahommes is God. He can be stopped. Every great player in history has been stopped on plenty of occasions.

We got this

people keep talking about how even this matchup is but it seems like everyone is picking KC

like @FaTaL said, who cares ? :yeshrug:

49ers havent lost a game by more than one possession all season, and all losses came on last second, literally.

If somehow we are the ones who dominate the game, we will end up with one of the most dominating seasons literally in history.

let us be the underdogs again :manny:

So when I said that if we win this SB, our Defense can be considered one of the greatest defense of all time based off our dominance.... some people said “I was doing to much”

But you see it, this season and the stats and games speak for themselves

If they win the SB, this defense deserves to be looked at above the Harbaugh-era defense, off-top, no debating.

That being said... if this team had a Willis or Bowman-level LB out there with Warner and Alexander... bruh. :banderas: Damn shame. Even a Borland-level LB out there with them for this game would ensure Kelce was shut down and dudes gonna be real careful about crossing routes. You have someone out there of that tier - or, through some miracle Greenlaw plays the best game of his life - you can literally sit there all-day in Cover 2 Man and fukk the Chiefs lives up.

The problem is, they're gonna rotate medium routes toward Greenlaw and spend half the day sending receivers on post/seam/streaks as decoys on the off-chance it works, and then looking to hit Kelce in the midrange when the defense accounts for it. It's not what anyone wants, but either Fred or Kwon gotta sit on Travis all day, because otherwise they're gonna cardio-check the DBs with deep distraction routes all day and go across the middle until someone falters deep and then it's gonna be a bomb on the one play they take off.

It's a worry that Akhello is a liability, because I think that subbing through CBs is gonna be important all game. Because they'll send Hill, Hardman and Watkins on deep runs just to check down a lot through the game, and unless them dudes spend the next week on a treadmill or training underwater, they're gonna get tired running 30+ yards on a play for nothing multiple times on a drive.

If K'Waun and the LBs can keep the crossing mid-range routes from getting firsts it won't be as rough a day, but... well.

At least it isn't Baltimore.

Mahomes is a headache but at least cuh ain't gonna pull out a Vick in Madden type of demoralizing run out of nowhere. It's weird, but it's a game I honestly believe SF needs to win the coin toss and receive for. If they can get out 2 TDs ahead, I think it'll be tough for KC, because they can't stop the run, and if you can grind out on the ground like last game, score from the run and devour the clock, it'll make it a lot easier to sellout playing 2 deep safeties and hoping the pass rush gets there and if they don't, sitting the LBs back to tackle and keep first downs the a minimum. There's a gameplan there defensively to stop them, but it literally only works if you can get that early lead. You don't want to be playing KC from behind as a run-first team... that's just a fukking losing prospect.

I just hope our team stays focused while in Miami during media day.

fukk wit them Miami THOTs AFTER you win the ship!

:mjlol:
This right here. People lose their mind when they come to my city. It wasn't till I started going to other cities to see why.

Miami is laxed on the laws. Always pretty women pretty much every where you go and the best drugs less stepped on.

We don't need any of our players going out like Stanley Wilson:francis:

how many of my brehs going to the game?
I would never go to a super bowl in Miami. The city is already too small for the population. It's going to be a nightmare to get around.

Not only that since Miami is so popular the super bowl is more expensive. So far I've seen seats going for 4k and up vs when I was in Phoenix when the tickets started 1500 and up.

Niners are drafting well and have the core team gauranteed to be signed. I believe they will be there again in 2023 when it's in Phoenix. I'll go then:russ:

Edit:. Just found out it's in Tampa next year. I'm going
