No. Saints cant get the 2 seed if packers,niners/seattle, and saint win out. Its impossible. Only way saint have a chance at a bye is if GB drops a game. Other then that, its between niners/sea and GB for the bye

The bye teams hold their own destiny. Whoever wins out on the west gets the 1 seed. GB wins out, they get 2 seed. NO is all but guaranteed the 3 seed

3 way ties are broken down differently then 2 way ties thats why. So if 3 non divisional teams finish the same record, the first tie procedure would be conference records.


Look at the playoff picture right now. 3 teams are tied with seattle being the 1 seed and GB the 2nd seed and niners being the 5th.

Seattle has the tie breaker over GB due to common opponents.
